I was i contact with support because the lag in pvp but also in pve when populations are high, stuttering and small lags i can do but when u cant do anything at all for minutte or more is not ok. anyway, first i got a horrible answear like this : Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited support team. Online multi-player games are very complex and I understand that you might need a little extra help with your adventuring in Tamriel.
Most in-game issues such as missing NPCs or quests not advancing correctly, can be resolved by logging out for five minutes then logging back in. This will load you into a new game instance and refresh your surroundings. Please make sure you’ve attempted that first!

It seems that the issue is caused by a connectivity problem and in order to resolve it I will ask you to try the following:

First of all make an exception/whitelist inside the anti-virus and Firewall softwares to allow either the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited folder or the specific files of ESO.exe and the Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe.

Also, for windows firewall here are the steps:

1. Open the Start Menu and type in the search box in the upper right Firewall.
2. Select the Windows Firewall option.
3. On the left pane select Allow a program or feature through the Windows Firewall.
4. Add both the ESO.exe and Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe.
5. These files can be found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online directory
6. And in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher.
7. Then click OK.


Please note: For network troubleshooting purposes, you should contact your ISP for the most accurate trouble-shooting.Nevertheless, I would advise you to try a few simple steps:

To best access The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, I would recommend configuring your router to open the following outbound ports:

-TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
-TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
-TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507

• Update the firmware of your router (it is always a good step to take, as it prevents that an outdated firmware interferes on your connection).
• Try to put your modem/router far from all electrical devices and do not coil up any excess signal or power cables (to eliminate possible interference problems).

wll, this could be a reason, if this was only for me, that the servers did not have any kind of spikes etc but this problem are not only for me but everyone that plays pvp and pvp when populations is high. like in pledge at the best playtime at day. everypne are doing pledge at the same time and u got massive lagspike. i did stop doing pledge for this reason.

i did roll a new toon in hope that you are working on this lag/server issues. 1month later the lag are even worse in pvp. there are 1000 of topics on the forum with lag in it.

i know you work on alot of things that are coming in the future but please stop doing that, PLEASE FIX the game first, Please upgrade your servers, wright better codes, go back to old codes, remoce the fancy light from skills, give us crapy sound, DO ANYTHING that can fix this lag issue before pumping out new stuffs.

and the last thing, please tell thouse people on support to read mails before that put out random answear and blaming players to be the problem and not your servers/hardware/software codes wtc.
