✭FreeYou shouldn't have to buy character customization in the crown store....and it shouldn't be for just for those who purchased the DLC. ✭✭Depends on if it's a "cost per use" or "pay once, use it as many times as you want".
If it's cost per use, they'd better not make it cost crowns.
The second option is OK if it costs crowns (but I'm pretty sure you'll have an uproar about it).
In both cases, ingame money is preferable, there are many other things to put a crown cost on.PC EU - Zahraji of the Void, aka "Kitty", the fluffiest salmon genocider in town.

But I would not be adverse to have things like hair styles, tattoos and the like be paid for in game while more structural features (like eyes, arm width etc.) to be crown store accessed.0 -

Changing the dimensions of your character's body, sex change, race change, etc = Crown Store
... at least that's how I'd do it, but given the nature of the business model now I suspect it will be Crown Store only.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Unlock stuff to change with achievement point tiers. E.g at 1000 achievement points you can change your hair (1 day cooldown), up to race or class change at 16000 achievement points (with a longish cooldown so you can't just switch between races/classes at will).1 -

whats on the creation screen is on the barbershop. If ZOS adds more, then....thats something else down the road but think of how silly that becomes as it should be open to new characters, because thats why its being requested.
You spend a lot of time making a character and then at level 5 - 10, or right after creation you realize they don't look like you thought at login/logout or in-game.
OR
Play and unlock X YZ just to change your appearance....but if you don't like how you look now, why would you keep playing?

Release the barber shop for free to everyone. Let players use the barber shop for in game gold. Sell new customizing options (hairstyles, tattoos, beards) in the crown store.What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

✭✭Crown Store, DLCI feel it should be a mix, honestly. It should be a gold sink (which the game lacks enough of after a certain stage) and a mix of Crown Store. Any/all default customization from the game's character creator should be gold-based, but ZOS should introduce Crown Store purchasable packs that lets players unlock new hairstyles, cultural adornments, tattoos and even new fur/scale patterns.
Sadly, for end-game vets, right now the game's buggest gold sink is PVP... and that's the one place ESO doesn't need a gold sink.0 -
