Magicka DK is, at least in trials, the highest DPS class. Or let's say the easiest to get really high numbers. Stamina NB can reach very high numbers as well, but is much harder to play.
The highest numbers I saw in 1.6 were all from Magicka DKs, have yet to see new numbers as no one has much interest in trials anymore though.
Plus Magicka DK will never ever run out of magicka because elemental drain too op.

Basically, Magicka DK op in PVE, and more or less garbage (nowadays) in PVP. Sadly.

Seriously what the hell, the answer is clearly NB, highest Damage per sec their is no question that the NB dominates all else in pvp.

-NB top dps is only in PvP, in pve its more difficult due to the super buff(1hit ko attack, if your magNB forget about DPS.) of boss.
-Sorc in both PvP and pve.(they have both dps in magicka (sorc skill line. Forget about dest staff, its only for a show for non CP playets) and stamina( 2 h weapon only. The bow is only for a show, for non CP players )
-DK= tank/DPS (lesser than sorc and NB, provided your a dunmer magDK for fire boost)
-Temp= tank/healer/dps( jab,jab and again *** with 2H weapon)

No links to builds or suggestions of how to make the class the best dps? Would an Orc sorc do more dps than a bosemer sorc or would a kajit nb do more than a nord nb...or would, well you get the point I hope lol ;-)

Race+class+build+skill choices+player style+other potential variables=dps

So, it's hard to say without being very specific. That is unless people just have a biased opinion from only playing one way without tying to learn other ways that could be better or worse. But, you never really know until the numbers are up from someone willing to invest the time and repot back accurately for the newer players like me :-)

If we're talking about PvP, Stamblades have the best DPS.
If we're talking about PvE, I'd say DKs because of the variety of DoTs they have.

Very very few between 20-25k. Mostly do around 15k

Im not sure how accurate that is. It routinely gets lower numbers than any other dps counter. And its in beta. But it is a nice tool.

Well, this poll result is about what I expected. I voted for NB, but I believe many (except for Templar) have great dps possibilities. NB are very bursty, DKs (PvE wise) have great sustained dps because of all their DOTs and Sorcs can pump out damage just as good.
