Guild traders?

I'm a bit new at the game and was wondering a few things.

I have seen that there is no global auction house but do I need to be in a guild in order to access the guild traders?
As there is no real in-game guide to this would it be possible for someone to just tell me how I should go about getting the things I want besides making.finding it?

Thanks, these questions have most likely been asked before, but the search I did returned far to many results and I just need a basic guide.

Yes you have to be member of a trade guild in order to sell stuff to other players.

If you want to sell items to the public, yes you do need to be in a guild, but the guildmaster need to make a successful bid to hired a guild trader.

However to buy from a Trader you do not need to be in a Guild.

All the zones have Guild Traders in their main city, as well as some single traders in out lying areas and also the is a Guild Trader in Outlaw Refuges.

I try to access the guild traders and all I see is a blank page; I have tried many different ones. Are you sure you don't need to be in a guild to access other guild traders? If not could you please let me know the magic word I need to use to get the items to appear. Thanks.

You definitely do not need to be in a Guild to access any of the traders......

The only difference is that when you are in a Trade Guild you can access that store in any bank, in any zone.

Are you trying to access traders in several different zones or just one?

You simply approach the trader and the option to interact will be there......

On activating that you will get a menu which includes "access store" and "bid on trader" I'm not 100% sure of the actual wording......

You want the first option offered, on clicking on that you will be taken to that Guild's store page on which there are several options and ways to search for what you want.....

Give me a few minutes I'll find some screen shots for you

OK, now i feel like an idiot. I didn't see the start search (r) at the bottom and was instead looking in the dialog box for a way to get items to show up. Thanks for all the helpful information though, I guess I did get up to early this morning.
