Maximum Possible Weapon Damage?

DjKahun
DjKahun

Hello People,

I'm working on my build to get the most weapon damage as possible.

I'm a stamina templar.

Sets:

1x Molag Kena
2x Morag Tong
5x Hundings
3x Agility

All weapon damage enchantments,

Flawless Dawnbreaker
Executioner
Rally
CP into Mighty
Medium Armour for 12% weapon damage

Is there any other ways of getting weapon damage higher?

The following setup will give you most weapon dmg:

    2x Molag Kena (129 + 516)
    5x Hundings Rage (299)
    3x Agility (186 + 3x 174)
    2x Maelstrom Dagger (2x 94)

    Total weapon dmg from sets:
    1324 (1840 Kena proc)

Weapon dmg from gold v16 DW:
    1335 x 1,2 = 1602

Total weapon dmg from sets + DW:
    1602 + 1324 = 2926 (3442 Kena proc)

Total weapon dmg with medium armor, Balance Warrior passives and Dawnbreaker:
    2926 x (1 + 0,12 + 0,06 + 0,08) = 3687 (4337 Kena proc)

    Total weapon dmg buffed with Rally: 3687 x 1,2 = 4424 (5204 Kena proc)

*Assuming all gear is v16 gold with the exception of the purple Agility Jewelry.

[Edit] I forgot to add the Warrior mundus so your weapon dmg could be even higher. For dps purposes its probably better to take the Shadow or Thief mundus though.

Thanks for this. I did experiment with Dual Wield a while back but I couldn't really get used to it but I will give it a try again. The reason I did not like dual wield is because it does not have a gap closer ability like 2h, aerdic spear does but it uses magika which would lower my damage as I love critical rush because sometimes I 1hit people with it

You can also go with the Maelstrom 2H Maul, this gives you approx 4374 weapon dmg buffed (5154 with Kena proc).

What if you'll replace 3 agility and 2 malestorm daggers with 5 briarheart and that will alow you to get crafted daggers and enchnat them with weapon damage glyph. Under all procs that shud give you more weapon damage at the end

I was thinking about briarheart but it would not work out too well for me as I have around 60% crit and i use the warrior mundus stone so the damage bonus would not apply at all times.

@BEZDNA You would loose 94 + 94 + 186 = 374 passive weapon dmg for the 10% chance on crits to get 449 weapon dmg for 10s with 15s cooldown.

Overall Briarheart (assuming it procs every 15s) will give you 449 x (10s/15s) = 299 weapon dmg on average.

In practice you wont proc Briarheart every 15s so effectively it gives lower weapon dmg than the Maelstrom daggers and Agility jewelry.

Low Slash is the 2nd skill from the S&B skill line.

Im referring to the 2H Maul, like the one in the picture below (from the first Orsinium PTS).

In practice you wont proc Briarheart every 15s so effectively it gives lower weapon dmg than the Maelstrom daggers and Agility jewelry.
With Briar you can use a weapon damage enchantment, so you would only loose 200 weapon damage, which leads to briar having higher average weapon damage as soon as you proc it every 22 sec.

For maximum weapon damage you should also take into account which buffs other people can use for you:
With powerful assault + spell power cure you get another 422 weapon damage.
DKs can provide a minor buff to increase your weapon damage by 5%.

    So this would lead to:

    Sets:
    2x Molag Kena (129 + 516)
    5x Hundings Rage (299)
    5x Briar (449 proc)
    1x Weapon enchantment (174)
    3x Jewelery enchantment (522)

    Total weapon dmg from sets:
    1124 (2089 Kena + Briar proc)

Weapon dmg from gold v16 DW:
    1335 x 1,2 = 1602

Total weapon dmg from sets + DW:
    1602 + 1124 = 2726 (3691 Kena + Briar proc)

    Spell power cure (258)
    Powerful assault (164)

Total weapon damage without percentage buffs:
    2726 + 258 + 164 = 3148 (4113 Kena + Briar proc)

Total weapon dmg with medium armor, Balance Warrior passives and Dawnbreaker:
    3148 x (1 + 0,12 + 0,06 + 0,08) = 3966 (5182 Kena + Briar proc)

    Total weapon dmg buffed with minor + major brutality: 3966 x 1,25 = 4957 (6477 Kena + Briar proc)

The only problem is that the weapon damage will not stack at all times which can be a bit of a disadvantage. Unless you drop caltrops which should prop every time hopefully

If you are sorc or ww you can get more.
Also in pvp you'll have more after you captured anything.

Just seein how my bow gank build (nb) matches up to these numbers but I don't use any monster or maelstrom. Can't rely on proc's cause of stealth opener and mostly solo so cant rely on others to buff. Not a ww either and will usually take a resource on my way to a spot but don't rely on that either as i don't retake something every 10min or whatever the timer is.

Briarheart is Hundings with jewelry, plus around 15% crit if you lucky enough to score the purple drops.

Briarheart > Agility for pure highest number of stat sheet

Agility > Briarheart for pure damage I think your plus like 500 stam agility over Briarheart.

If your running caltrops and when they update PVP gear to V16,

Ravager - Briarheart - 1 piece Kena - Warrior for the win (for just a pure number on a stat sheet anyway)

@lolo_01b16_ESO I agree you can get higher stats with Briarheart but the overall weapon dmg is actually very close.

Even with Caltrops Briarheart wont proc every 15s, probably more like every 17s on average.

    449 x (10s/17s) = 264 average weapon dmg.

The 174 weapon dmg enchant can proc every 8s and lasts for 5s.

    174 x (5s/8s) = 109 average weapon dmg.

    Total = 264 + 109 = 373 weapon dmg.

373 (Briarheart) is almost equal to 374 (Agility + 2x Maelstrom)

The benefit of Agility + 2x Maelstrom is that you dont need to rely on crits and procs to get high weapon dmg.
If your weapon crit is realtive low and procs Briarheart less than once every 17s its better to go Agility + 2x Maelstrom.

With very high weapon crit I can imagine Briarheart being better because it also provides weapon crit.

Omg why must all the good damage sets be crafted how dumb

It's not dumb. It takes time to research the traits so being able to craft a good set is a reward

It makes them easily available to everyone and they are not bound unless worn. I'd rather craft my own gear then spend hours farming PvE and hoping for the right sets to drop. Thank god they are introducing the monster helms to Cyrodiil, I've always wanted to try them out but never had any luck. But back to the original question, I saw a guy with 5536 weapon damage on his imperial night blade today.

I would say it is cause the average player can not use these sets.which is not fair they are never hardly sold in guild traders.and when you see them you usually see pieces only here or there not all sold together.or they are not the level you are looking for im vr16 but i am useing vr14 hundings rage set.cause i couldnt find a vr16 set anywhere for sell.it's like zenimax is only catering to a certain class of players by not making it to were you can also obtain the same stats by normal gear. that drops and not crafted. no I will not ask anyone to craft me gear either.I do not want scammed everyone on console is jerks.and i will not be forced to using my voice to ask someone to craft me gear. i should be able to get the stats i want with out having to use crafted gear.

Agility, Molag Kena and Maelstrom weapons all cannot be crafted.

For the build described above only 5 out of 13 pieces can be crafted, this means 38% is crafted and 62% consists of dropped items.

Well why should a player which has not put much effort into the game be able to have the same sets over someone who spent days researching and it's not hard find a guild or a friend and get them to craft it for you that's what I did early in the game.

I don't want to derail this thread by me being off topic. I was just saying it seems as if the game is based more around the crafted sets and less around the dropped sets everyone gets.a person should be able to get the stats they want without having to use any crafted gear if thats what they want. but it isn't possible hardly just another reason why the game is not play as you want.

A lot of the decent sets are dropped sets too which are a lot harder to get than crafted ones

    IMO the three most underrated DPS sets interest he game are;

    Powerful Assault

    And

    Sheer Venom

    And

    Shock Master

All three or dropped sets or IC tell at stone purchase able.

None of them give you the single highest pure number on a stat sheet but all three offer some amazing ability to make armor around your builds.

Sheer Venom is fascinating to theory craft and shock master with sorc passive, either one of these sets in the hands of a really good stam sorc would be amazing.

Yes the only other set I found useful was the Shield Breaker, I always got it in my inventory in case a Sorcerer pisses me off so I just eat through their shields xD

Put some effort on and research. I play on xbox and have 9/8 on heavy, all woodworking, 8/7 on medium and light, 8 on sword, 6 on Greatsword, 5 on a bunch of others. So nobody has an excuse to not do 6 traits on medium.

If you can't, join a guild and do stuff for them and they will help you out in return.
