Play a different game for player versus player content

Thats not a good response since the main focus of their PvP was large scale play how you want PvP .. obviously there is only so much play as you want that can happen in a game like this. But the PvP is nothing like it was when it launched.

I also hate the ZERG vs ZERG mentality that the game has currently but this is hopefully going to start changing with the next release...
I am in a guild on EU and we can also zerg and do zerg... however i prefer it when we find a bunch of AD or EP of around 10 people and then we do some small scale.. Absolutely love it.....
I also love playing solo but that has its downside in that hardly anyone moves around solo in Cyrodiil anymore...
We also have factions that take scrolls and go and sit in a little house/resource somewhere and try to farm AP,
you have 2 options...... Feed them AP or Ignore them... the scroll will reset..
Sit on the main route between where they are farming and their closes keep and do some ganking...
I do this sometimes, not for the AP, but for the fun. I'm so tired of riding from keep to keep and sieging. It's getting so old - I just want some open field PVP. Not horse riding simulation and throwing rocks at walls simulation, followed by killing NPCs.Groups are more inclined to sit at a central location and farm each other than try to push objectives. My own faction who rarely has their own scrolls will obtain a scroll RARELY. Will they run it back? NO! They again take it to a tower sit inside and farm AP.
I have been playing MMOs since the early 90's all while primarily focusing on PVP. When I first saw the adds for ESO I was intrigued due to the large scale uniqueness of the PVP system, something new to experience. When I got the game I was pleasantly surprised at how fun I was having in PVP, both small and large scale. Albeit the lag can at times be frustrating, but the objectives and flow of the battles was really enjoying to me.
Advance to present day and I can barley even stand going into what people call "PVP" in this game. There is no such thing as PVP. It is zerg ball versus zerg ball, in which whatever zerg coordinates their AOE better wins to retreat back to a resource tower and rinse and repeat. For the past two weeks every battle I have seen has been centered around large groups sitting in a single resource tower waiting for their ultimates, coming out, AOE zerg and repeat. This is not PVP it is a joke.

Why even have objectives if players could care less to push them unless a group wants emp? I am not sure what has caused PVP to advance to the current state, but the current state is certainly up there with the worst of PVP I have seen in the MMOs I have played.
