Hi guys, a crafter newbie question:

Why are some armor parts crafted at blacksmithing station and others at clothing working station? what is the logic behind it? does it depend on level of the armor, or on the "big" and "small" parts of the armor? or something else?

Because they're different kinds of armour that use different materials.

You can't make a robe in a forge, nor a plate armor on a spinning wheel, that is why :)

yes but I mean, for example VR6 partly heavy, partly light, partly medium armor, Set of Hunding`s range for example. Why some parts are done in blacksmithing station and some parts in clothing station? or is it because of heavy, light and medium?

Pretty much, but also keep in mind the ESO uses a crafting system completely different from other TES games.

Logic? It's simply a time sink, consistent with the current MMO/Grinder phase of psychological manipulation for maximizing profit margins. It's a thing. Lot's of games are doing it these days. Clearly they assume the majority of the players are either very low intelligence or AFK'ing with robot chickens pecking away at the keyboards while they are away at work anyways.

I would if I could understand what it is that you're really asking? Not meaning to sound sharp here.

Light, medium and heavy armour all use different materials as you know. At a Blacksmith station for example you can craft heavy chest, legs, shoulders, feet and head and belts. As well as swords, maces, axes etcetera.

Clothing stations are for all medium and light set pieces.

Woodworking is for all wood weapons and shields. (Bows, staves etc)

To make them higher level, you click the little plus sign under the material type. (To make it level 1, 3, etc etc it uses more of the material)

Exactly, light is made by fabric, medium by hide and heavy by metal. That is why different stations is required.
