I just wanna hear from anyone using the Morkuldin crafted set or anyone that that has experience fighting people using it.

I'm considering making it but I need info on it before I commit all that material and money. Thanks in advance

I know that @Mumyo use it on his Stamplar and he seemed pretty pleased with the result, especially the fact that if the 5 set bonus procs on a NB it will repeatedly take him out of stealth. :D

Hey there, ah i liked the fact that it indeed can get people out of stealth and the dmg can also be helpful but as templar i wouldnt recommend it since u cant weave like anyone else.

On the other hand my hate for sorc grew so big that i swapped to shieldbreaker which grants u a better bonus overall.
On my dk it proccs really often.

I'd say it depends on ur class and is not bad but the dmg is not too good. I also dont know how the dmg scales, i had 4k weapon dmg with it and it mostly hit for 1-2k.:( in pvp.

can be fine but keep in mind, it doesnt procc on shields. ( thats why i replaced it in the first place)

Damage wise the set is extremely underwhelming. If it scaled off your stats it could easily be a contender to some of the stuff like Hundings/Nightmother's, but in its current state its really really lack luster. Fun wise its really enjoyable, even though you're not really doing anything. Just seeing and hearing the sword proc has a unique feeling to it, and it can even AoE (it casts cleave every once in a while). Unfortunately its just out shined by so many other armor sets that it's more of a fun/trolly set to run than anything else.

I've been attacked by it and it's kinda meh. After walking out of the way the blade seemed to go hit someone else nearby, so if you're trying to use it to burn single targets down, and there's other people nearby, you're out of luck.
I really have no idea why this is a 9 trait set. Just going to stick to my Hunding's. If I want the 4pc of Morkuldin I'll just go buy Shield Breaker.

My NB uses it. Quite handy but it does move quite slow tbh. But it is very good for WW builds. Adds extra chopping.

Shields...so many things dont procc on shields. Take this set for instance, morkuldin, take winterborn set...take crit, take dots...well theres a multitude of other things out there, but dangit, shields are still too powerful imo, and they stack. They are also spammable, thing about Vigor being spammable, and stacking with itself... its almost the same thing.

Dots actually work on shields now. Crits still don't however

Do they really?! I know they continue to DoT if a target puts up a shield, but still haven't seen evidence that it can proc the DoT effect on the target if he's shielded.

Was a post a while back, but there the initial hit that applied the bleed was done when the shield was down.

They do, but how well they work I don't really know unfortunately. ZOS obviously want me to use wrecking blow, so I will

I may have to try this since unlike my stam sorc temps don't have to rely on crits

It does proc with stamplar light weaves

It is very very fun when defending a keeP but not very effective. Just fun to watch it spawn in the middle of the enemy outside the keep and most people dont know what it is. It never kills them so agree with the previous Meh.

It is very very dangerous to the caster in the sewers because it seems to have an attraction to wangering bosses

So craft it v15 for a laugh, not worth the v16 mats.

stam DK here: I use it and it is a "fun" item for a WW build. Weaving light attacks with howl and getting that set to proc makes for some nice dps on single target (bleeds and the set proc). I would like to see it proc a little more, either that or follow targets a bit faster. I get the most use out of it because I animation cancel quite a bit with light attack/bash so it procs much more than some other builds who wouldn't light attack as much.

is it a min/max 5-set bonus? nah, there are better options. However its not horrible for specific builds/play styles.

It never seemed great on paper. I'd rather a 5 hunding's.

Will rock a piece mokluding with my 5 hunding's on my stamplar when my shield and medium chest finished researching. I'm using sword and board as dps. 2 hands is purely for rally, so not bother losing the weapon damage om that bar. 5 hunding's and 4 morkuldin should be nice.

I'm only level 26 on it, but those sets, sword and board weapon damage buffs, templar weapons damage buffs, flawless dawnbreaker... Should hit really hard.

I wouldn't rock the 5 piece though. That proc chance would take dps away. I like flat stats, not proc chance (except engine guardian for tanking). Same reason I'm not fussed about Briarheart. Rather rock pure damage sets and agility rings.

I am using it but only as a 4 item bonus. It pairs really well with any other 5 piece damage set out there.

    4 piece is great ;p

So is shield breaker (exact same 4 piece bonus)... with shield breaker's 5 piece bonus probably more useful. (could have 5 piece hunding while on quickbar 1, and 5 piece shield breaker while on second quickbar).
