Dk stam pvp bad? not from what i see?

Hi , I see various topics around that DK stam are lowest in the food chain in pvp...
Not from what i see in cyrodil or at least in black water campaign not sure if it changes much at vet levels... But DK's seem to annihilate everything and solo alot of people at the same time lol.

....are you confusing magicka and stamina DK. Most threads either ask for stam whip, or stam skills besides dots, or its more focused on magicka or general DK skills being sucky or broken.

i dont think ive seen anyone say stam Dk sucks at PvP or is bottom of the food chain. it'll use very few class skills i expect, but has nice passives and ultimates options.

Not sure is a stam dk should be called a stam dk though, most use maybe 1-2 dk skills? It's easily replaceable on any other stam chara.

I think it can be made somewhat unique by those couple skills, though I do agree there's not much difference on paper. Sorc is similar but certain things define it like mobility with bound lightning and streak. Stam DK can be set apart by giant amounts of burst thanks to leap, and it can still run things like reflect, a healing boost, and a really good CC if you need it.

OK, So as a beginner what would some good gear set up be for a dk stam build in cyrodil? would it be 5 heavy 2 medium? or 5 medium and 2 heavy?

Also any good sets to use? I can make 3-4 medium set traits and nearly 6 trait heavy sets using another toon. would it be ashen grip and nights silence? I cant make any Hundings yet

5 medium 2 heavy.

Hunding's and ashen is ideal. 5 night's silence and rest ashen grip would suit you best until that. The regen from it will help you out as a beginner, until you learn how to sustain yourself

Stam DKs have some great skills in their favour that makes them different to other stam's builds. Take flight scaling off mighty is the main one. They can still use wings in certain fights. Igneous shield means your vigor heals more and casting it restores stam. Ultimates giving you recourses back. The two handed and bow build with shuffle is great.

Been rocking it a while and do really well in pvp with it, despite also being able to tank pledges with a gear swap. The major expedition buff from bow on my orc is amazing. Great mobility, dodge chance, reflect, great resource sustain and hits like a truck.

A good stam DK is up there with stamblades and magica sorcs.
