Synergies

Hey guys, is there any synergy that restores stamina other than the templar spear? I ask because my group and I wanna try different roles. We can clear all content in the game now and it would be nice to mix it up a bit and try something new. We normally run with a DK tank, Templar healer and 2 Sorc DD'S.

I have recently gotten into nightblade tanking and it's alot of fun, our DK tank is now a high elf sorc and our templar healer is now a khajiit NB. I am running nightblade tank and our other DD (who normally runs stam sorc) is playing a breton NB DD. Would it be viable for the breton NB to heal? I understand there will be no burst heal like breath of life but magic sustain will be fine because of Mystic orb. Can anyone point me in the right direction on a nightblade healing build and/or provide some info on stamina synergies.

Many thanks.

I like NB healing personally, have one myself. Their heals cause damage and also one of the ultimates can mitigate damage for your group when in the AoE, and heal them. So its kind of like having another DPS and Tank in the group too.

There really isn't much issue doing vet dungeons with different play styles so long as every role knows what they're doing. Obviously don't go in with a group of new players using oddball roles, but with a group of experienced players in there its really not going to make much a difference because the job will still get done.

Deviating from the norm and making things less cookie-cutter isn't bad. Makes gameplay more interesting.

Stam synergy for you or the dd. as a nb tank all you need is siphoning attacks + whatever.
This one has an eloquent and well thought out response to tha... Ooh sweetroll!

So you think a NB tank doesn't need the same support as a DK tank? Just toggle siphoning attacks and do a few light weaves to top resources back up?

Any ideas on healing? Would a nightblade healer and a nightblade tank doing off healing be sufficient for vet dungeons if your group is good enough, or is a templar healer a must?

Well, i am a nightblade tank, so yea :) . It helps to have calthrops or path of darkness down, because that will proc it too. I rarely have stamina issues, even when full heavy and using armor master and calthrops (both are signifigant stamina drains and i have a small stamina pool.) you just need to light attack a few times when its safe to do so to make sure you are golden.

Undaunted command passive is still great to have though. Every bit helps.

Especially since you are an experienced group, i would say yes on the healer. Healing ward is a fine replacement for breath of life, if used well. I honestly dont think you will have problems. It is different though.

Repentance (4) – Same passive effect but can now be activated for free and upon doing so you instantly gain health and stamina for you and your allies based on how many corpses are around. Brilliant for AoE farming, handy for some boss fights that have adds and marvelous in PvP. Only doesn’t get a 5 because in fights with no adds, the morph is worthless (admittedly a harsh judgment due to how amazing the spell is at all other times)

Cool, thanks for your help dude. At the moment I'm running pierce armour, twisting path, funnel health, siphoning attacks and sap essence. Back bar I have inner fire, impale, summon shade?, double take and sap essence again. Will probably swap impale for caltrops when I've pvp'd enough. Ultimates I'm using soul harvest and veil of blades but will probably swap one for warhorn at some point.

Gear wise I was gunna run 5 Footmans, 5 Twice Born Star and 2 engine guardian.

    Anything else you would recommend?

I agree dude, deviating from the norm does keep the game interesting, on our main characters we can beat skoria on 2 platforms now and everything's just got a bit boring so wanna try something new and challenging.
