Right on cue. As is the case every single time a new patch rolls around, certain people start freaking out and overreacting to every proposed change. In this case no changes have even been proposed yet, so calm yoself. Even if your assumptions are correct, stam builds are gonna be completely fine. 25% damage reduction isn't the end of the world, and if you think it is- imagine what magicka builds deal with right now. The little bit of spell resist from LA is not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be- no valid reason to nerf that. The real culprit is Harness magicka. Long as that's a thing ppl are gonna invest heavily in the physical version of hardy anyways. If you truly want balance, delete that skill.
As far as thaumaturge/elemental expert goes- that is relevant to more than just sorcs. Magicka DK's that make use of Dawnbreaker and Proxy Det are also shafted. Not to mention, anyone that uses a destro staff has to compromise between basic attack damage and primary dps. In contrast, Stam builds get all damage buffed from simply investing into mighty. Either make it so both playstyles get full damage from one star, or that both playstyles have to compromise. Because fair is fair.
As a sorc, it pisses me off that I have to drop 3k everytime I wanna do vMSA. You have to realise that unless a particular sorc's build is entirely based around overload, they are mostly relying on magic damage anyways in PvP. So the hypothetical change is more of a quality of life improvement rather than any kind of meaningful buff for the vast majority of that class. Also, no stam DK worth their salt is putting too much into Elemental Expert fyi.
Just chill out, stam gonna be fine. And to all the other people jumping on this ill-informed post to take shots at ZOS and cry doom, realize that anyone can make a forum post about anything. Doesn't mean their points are valid or worth getting riled up about.
Though ZOS doesn't have the greatest track record. I think it's alarmist to utterly freak out just yet. We don't know everything planned, and there is still a PTS phase as well.
As I understand it, the damage increase consolidation will be applied to everyone, not just singling out Magic and Elemental damage. IIRC DK with Mighty and Elemental Expert were also mentioned by users before Wrobel gave us a statements on a few key points of interest he planned to take back and discuss. They weren't even guaranteed to happen, just good points raised that they wanted to take back to be discussed.
While it's important to raise concerns. I think we should wait until the PTS is lanched to preclaim the sky is falling. At least then we'll be able to see the whole sky.
Actually, there is still hope
There is a Great Class Overhaul coming up (Update 9?) that's (supposed to) balance the classes, so maybe the devs are going to make class changes based on the new Champion Point system.

It's not ill-informed, it's speculation based upon Wrobel's responses. Also I'm not freaking out, I'm merely drawing attention to a possible (as well as probable) outcome that in my opinion would just completely wreck stamina builds. Another thing, just because you don't agree with me, doesn't mean the points I'm raising il aren't valid.

Well for starters, I'm not freaking out. I just prefer to raise my concerns sooner rather than later. If there's one thing ZOS's track record does show, it's that the product typically doesn't change much from beta/pts.

With a title of "Stamina users, prepare you anuses". It's hard to detect a lack of freak out. Also to ZOS' credit, they have made changes based on PTS feedback.

Yeah now just give the PTS the the other two thirds of the playerbase and it might be acceptable. As of now Only PC matters and console is paying the bills

Both Sony and Mircosoft require updates to pass each company's certification. This is done because both offer longer, and more extensive replacement warranties, and the cert process is to test for fatal errors. It takes on average 7-10 days.
For a PTS to provide a developer the most applicable data. Developers need to be able to make changes need to be able to make changes more quickly. That's why they're not offer to console.

Fine if magicka users get a new passive they can pool points into the increase physical resistance either though there is already something like in the system then stamina users should get a new passive that deals "X"% unresistant damage to a player with a damage shield or deal "X" extra damage to a players damage shield. It's only fair.

There already is a solution to shields in game and you don't even have to put any points into a constellation. It's called Shield Breaker!
