PvE only IC

Since so many PvPers keeps asking to get all kinds of gear and such from the PvE side so that they don't have to do what they don't like, then I think it'd only be fair if Zenimax would introduce a PvE only IC to let PvErs go in there and get what they want without having to PvP if they don't want to. It's not any skills or anything we'll get by having a PvE only IC, only easier access to gear etc, which is exactly what PvPers keeps asking for.

Well, anyone that wants gear from PvE content while doing PvP can't really say no to this, as it's exactly what they want themselves.

Or a better solution is remove the BoP of all gear and allow people who want to PvE and sell PvE gear and people who PvP and sell PvP gear.

Well, since that's never going to happen as Zenimax loves their BoP gear this is probably the best way to do things after that, and it's just what many PvPers want too, but for PvE gear.

I understand where you were coming from withthis thread I have been reading the "Maelstrom Weapons for AP" thread I'm not a Hardcore PVPer it's something I will do if for nothing else the skills I want from it however frustrating it may get for me I know it's what I need in order to get the skill I want and the same goes for the weapons or whatever on the PVE side.

Sadly though there will always be people on both sides who want the rewards for not playing a part of the game it seems to be the nature of the beast

PvPers seem to think they rule the place im about a 70 % PvEr and 30 % PvPer so I go in there world so why don't they get off there fat asses and come in to my world and farm like the rest of us , so not only do the top 2 % of PvPers get the better rewards in the campaign they want the better PvE gear for sitting around and do nothing

I don't mind if this topic is a troll bait kind or not but honestly I do think this should happen. Currently there are 3 "professions" in IC: Assault, Farmer and Ganker.

And players coming from PvE or players like me who really like to play solo (or at least is small groups) just can't even walk around Imperial City without being smashed by those categorized in mentioned professions.

What about the questline? Or the achievements? I dare to say, what about the rights that a PvE player should have after buying the DLC that has a lot of content not related to PvP and provides a lot of resources much needed for regular PvE?

You want to do PvP? Fine! But let those who don't enjoy the content in peace, not in pieces

I'm really not a fan of PVP but it doesn't matter to me that a PVP area remains pvp. My main problem is in the group quests when there aren't any others around. Getting killed(because I suck at pvp) is annoying, but expected and most of the time they stop after about ten minutes.

Edit: Last thread I saw on this brought up an interesting point that I'm curious about - do PVPers see a detriment since we end up having to fill up a campaign to join Imperial City?

It's a tough call when PvP'ers have only been given one full dlc and even that has quite a bit of PVE in it.

It's an easy enough idea but it's a tough crowd and they don't like change or catering for all.

Personally I just avoid Imperial City all together and play vicariously through YouTube playthroughs. I wandered into the sewers with my new character at level 10 for lols. Grabbed my 18 tv stones and ran back home haha. #byelosers

A PvE only version might be interesting. Especially if you put it behind a campaign that requires you to capture your 6 keeps.

I totally agree. The same way there are players engaged in PvE that hates PvP and would love a non-PvP version of IC, the PvP lovers should have a particular instance for them to play along with other PvPers.

One thing, though. This CANNOT be conditioned anyhow like change a campaign.

I think IC would be great as a standalone from pvp. It's singlehandedly one-sided PvP abd all campaigns are continuously ruled by one alliance. Pvp hasn't been much fun in months.

No he is referring to that yes, but mostly the new poll that has resulted from the vendor where someone asked for the vendor to also sell maestorm arena master weapons because they don't want to do the arena at all for various reasons. The OP was making some valid points on that thread about how if PVErs want some of the PVP skills that can benefit them in PVE then they must PVP. He's trying to give them a taste of their own medicine at least that was how I read the OP based on what I read in the other thread from the PVP community.

a note though: a lot of PVPers and even some PVP only people did vote no on the poll and I applaud those ppl

Letting PvPers skip PvE is not the same thing as letting PvEers skip PvP. Content in PvE comes in the form of dungeons, trials, and the various arenas; one less player doesn't change the content at all. Content in PvP comes in the form of other players, and less players means less content.

Anyways, the solution is to make everything BoE.

come on, it is not that hard to get a "PVE only IC" even right now. search a campaign with least enemy players, the colorful stripes next to campaign name. get into the one, that has at least 1 stripe (the more the better) of your faction and max 1 stripe of enemy factions. In IC, get into a group at least 5 players - use zone chat (/z) to find it (random encounter groups work pretty well in IC), there you go

!

I have done it many times like this and it worked pretty well for me.
