I'm neither a ZOS defender or someone that buys into the crown store items. I do like the costume and I am a Plus member.

As someone who works in a similar industry on a much smaller field, I can tell you that revenue targets and goals are non-negotiable from top management. The specific people who work on revenue streams do it as they are required. That's their job. Sometimes they are a specific team of developers, sometimes it's the same people making new content. Sometimes these people also don't agree with the current objectives.

The company will continue to sell crown store items until that well is dried up. It's hard to prove to a company that players don't want crown store items when people buy them up in the fistfuls. It's an easy revenue stream, and half the time, nothing is giving a player an edge in combat. The ultimate way to prove that the company should focus on new (non-crown) content is by stopping the purchasing of crown store items. And since neither you or me can control someone going coo-coo for a camel, you'll have to live in the reality of capitalism.

Really looking forward to Camels, its nice to see normal mounts.

I'd love to see them add Mammoths and Elephants as well, which reminds me, why are there mammoths in Grahtwood instead of Elephants? Doesn't anyone else feel that the elf jungles should have some southeast asian elephants? I know its more art work for the devs, but given how easy it seems for them to reskin the senche and horses, I can't imagine it would be that hard for them to reskin the Mammoths.

Driving by a neighbor's bull camel enclosure once in my Ford F250HD work truck set for towing (not a small vehicle) his bull camel decided that the truck was too close during rutting season. He spit at the truck hard enough to rock it.

But, what I really want is a Silt Strider mount! (As long as you can keep from thinking that you are riding inside the shell of a giant wetland cockroach, inside its guts)

It would be nice to ride a Silt strider in the game, even if it isn't player controlled. I always liked those things.

That's kinda my concern with the camel mounts. What will the riding animation look like. As much as I like the look of the bear the riding animation is awful.

Actually, yes @Troneon you did say that everything should be going to bug fixes etc. You freaked out that they're daring to introduce something that will make money for them (and wouldn't have taken a lot in the way of resources to create - camel models were already in the game, so all that makes them even easier to create than a mount that doesn't already exist in-game) instead of focusing entirely on bug fixes etc. You also said that every single person working on Crown Store stuff someone who could be working on bug fixes, which is completely false and show you have absolutely no understanding of the reality of business.

Your entire argument was that they shouldn't introduce Crown Store stuff and should be focusing entirely on bug fixes etc. Of course, now that everyone has pointed out how incredibly stupid and naive that argument is, you're desperately backpedaling and trying to say "um, no, that's not what I meant, stop trying to nitpick" when in fact it's not a nitpick at all, it's a direct counter to the entire thrust of your ridiculous argument.

But good luck with your revisionism. If you go back and edit all of your posts, maybe someone might actually believe you.

Well, it wasn't meant to be an excuse. I was simply stating a fact that I had seen repeated on this forum many times over. It is a rather important one when you consider that it allows you to focus your energy on pressing the server stability and maintenance team to fix the issues you care about as opposed to wasting energy complaining about people who are simply doing their job: to release new content. I wasn't excusing ZoS's actions--or lack thereof--concerning the issues you brought up. It is funny how defensive ignorant people become as soon as you start speaking factually, almost as though they're averse to them or something.

True, I am pretty happy that there are mounts like the lioness, which suits my character size far better than horses. What about a donkey?- That would be about the right size of a mount for my character.

I would as well be happy, if there would be a bonus for just walking, not running, for a while - like for example getting 20% more XP for some time, when you kept walking around instead of running. Especially in cities this would be nice to have, you walk around there and when you do your crafting afterwards, you will have more XP doing it.

It makes more sense for them to be mammoths than elephants. It keeps it consistent since there was supposedly different kinds of mammoths.
