why isnt zenimax fixing this?
why does this happen in eso constant?
why can people use these exploits and also defend these exploits on the forums and zenimax does and says nothing?
makes no sence to me.

I used to be able to escape an ambush/crit-charge train every time with a coordinated bolt escape into a dodge roll into a bolt escape into a dodge roll. Now these abilities still target and follow me through my dodge rolls so there is literally no escaping people who want to spam gap closers on you.

Combat has been broken for some time because of this and all the potatoes have finally picked up on it and it's pretty much all they do. All you need is 1 decent player and a sack of potatoes spamming gap closers and they'll kill *anyone*.

But hey.....Sorcs can't escape any more and that's what everyone wanted so now we have it.

I don't think cooldowns are needed, I just think the stun/silence/root need completely removed and let them be spammable (but unable to target a player mid dodge roll). If a sorc is using bolt escape his bolt escape will always cost more than your gap closer, especially after he casts it more than once. If you're a stamina player chasing a stamina player you'll have no problem keeping up with them with an equal amount of skill.

Gap closers should not be a way to lock players down, only a way to do damage and keep you within range of your target. A root/snare is not needed for this.
