I mean, sure, if you want ESO to fail and close down it would be a great idea to fire everyone working on Crown Store stuff and replace them with more people working on bug fixes.

If you live in the real world you understand that they actually need different teams working on all of those things, because if they're not making money (and cosmetic items in the Crown Store are guaranteed to be the best revenue stream in terms of money it brings in vs. how much it costs to produce), then they can't pay people to do bug fixes etc.

Never once was said that all the money needs to go on one specific thing and nothing else.

Either way it is still unacceptable to have these many issues in an mmo in 2016 going unsolved for months at a time, they obviously need to shift some of their focus...

Even spending some of the profits, and they are raking it in with consoles, to increasing the other dev teams to work on these issues.

I love how the zos defenders can't actually counter your argument so they analyze every single word, find the one cherry picked thing you left out and never actually said then jump to conclusions and start with the... HA BUT IF THEY DID THAT THE WORLD WOULD END AND THE SERVER LIGHT WOULD GO OUT AND AND!!!111!!!!1!!

9 women can't have a baby in 1 month. Sometimes more resources in dev don't help. I can't tell you how many times I heard some variation on "we want to release 4 weeks early instead of 8 weeks from now... will another dev help?" No, because I'll spend those 4 weeks getting a new dev up to speed.

ZOS has made a lot of changes for the better lately, I think. Adding devs has a delayed effect compared to adding art folks or customer service. I hope some of those changes included more resources on the dev team, because the game clearly needs some backend optimization and the tedious work of tracking down bugs.

A quick search in google got 40 mph as top speed of a camel, for a short while. The reason why they are walking slowly in the desert is, because it keeps their food and water consumption at very low levels and because moving fast in rapidly moving dune sands would be a risk to the health of the animal and might lead to loss of wares and human lifes in the process.

Not just that, they can get pretty angry, when bothered by strangers, and bite. Their owners seem to treat them not very kindly, but camels are rather stubborn animals and need a push to do what they are supposed to do.

I've heard on multiple occasions that there are separate teams responsible for releasing new content and server stability and maintenance.

But that's how they make profits now... Dlcs and crown store. The game is not subscription-based anymore so Zos needs a source of steady income. Even with all these bugs and stuff, no cash = no fixes and no content.

Camel racing is a very big deal in many countries in the Middle East.

I wonder why there seem to be three different sorts of camels in that screenshot? Please no flaming, daedric, frosty, sandstormy or pink sparkly camels.

Dude you are the one who freaked out that they are going to have a camel mount, as if creating a camel mount is somehow stealing resources from bug fixing.

Others simply pointed out that they have to do both, create content AND bug fix, which according to your last post you agree with, "Never once was said that all the money needs to go on one specific thing and nothing else.".

So if not all the money needs to go to bug fixes, then where does the extra go to? Stuff like camel mounts, that's where.

It seems you are agreeing with us that both need to be done. Perhaps what you meant is you wish the ratio of the different teams was more heavy on the bugfixing side? I could get on board with that. But that is not what your initial post implied.

I'm guessing these will mostly likely be generic brown/beige/grey camels or something. The Skeletal mounts won't be available until October.
