Trying to grind with Magick dk

Having issues staying alive as a magical dk trying to lvl in Ruby cave. Was using the whips n chains build but it doesn't boast much for survivability to I tried to switch the inferno for a healthy but still run into issues. Gear isn't top notchoice but I'm using 4 piece twilight's and 4 piece seducer... thinking of grabbing vampires kiss now.

S&b, flame lash, entropy, burning embers for single target
Never expierenced any trobles with healing on dk.

Maybe sorcerer spoiled me but I can't seem to keep damage off in some cases long enough to do good dmg

i am now a Vr6 and use the following armour sets,

5 pce warlock,
4 pce Trinimac,
2/3 pce Torugspact,

I use Destro staff and Shield and sword,

Destro Staff,
Force pulse,I
Elemental Ring,
Igneous shield,
Hardened armour,
Green Dragon Blood,
U- Shifting Standard

S&S
Flame lash,
Burning Embers,
Shielded assault,
Choking Talons,
Engulfing Flames,
U- Take Flight,

i wouldnt use Dragons blood in cyrodil. and for group add grinding

Id use something like this

choking talons to reduce mob damage.
draw essence for sustain and heal
armor buff has two effects draconic power increase healing recieved via passive and armor buff
double flame lash taloned adds for heals
pop igneous to make the heal strong so it acts retroactively to rapid regen so you get 6 seconds of increased heal ticks and pop it between the 2 seconds healing flame lash gives is a nice heal.

basically eruption, firery breath, talons draw essence and begin the lash spam. between draw essence/talon reapplication. keep healing and armor up, and use reflect as you need it.

this is the slower but easier set up. I swap out igneous for entropy if i dont need the extra healing. or i dont double bar reflect if i get use to weapon swaping. outside cyrodil id drop the restoration staff, use destruction staff for elemental drain instead of reflect(sustain) and use dragons blood.
