What happened in real life to traitors is they got to see their own entrails if they were lucky.

Perhaps players that go traitor should have a status marking that makes them persona non-grata and marks all townspeople and guards as pure hostile. Perhaps have it go away after so many deaths that accrue repair bill.

Otherwise, have a report that throws them in prison for a duration with repeat offenders getting exponentially larger stays.
Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

Why not just create an alt on that faction, and use the same exploit on as many campaigns as possible? When all the campaigns are one sided and not fun, ZoS will fix the issue.

Been playing since Beta, ZoS only fixes the issues that are widely exploited. The best way to get ZoS to fix something is to widely exploit it.

Sadly, all of the campaigns have been one sided and haven't been any fun for over 8 months, and ZoS still hasn't done a thing about fixing this or any other exploits.

    There goes that idea.
Oh so you play on a console? Well this is a console game after-all I suppose.

It's happened on Xbox eu before. Won't name factions but have posted about it in the past, the plus side we all just camped the keeps and when they thought the were going to get away with the scroll we killed them and took it back. All that AP :p and half a map travel time for them to try again lol

    Shallow response.

In war, you can kill traitors. In Cyrodiil, traitors run through your zone, taking zero damage from all your attacks. It is garbage. It is in no way a compelling game.

Except, being a Double Agent or Spy carries some pretty significant risks in real life. There is no risk in game, and thus no point in doing so other than to inflate your own narcissistic ego or cheat the system as that is the only way you can win. Cheating is cheating, and even if you personally don't classify it as cheating within your own moral and ethical code, then you certainly cannot disagree it is unsportsmanlike and cheap. Such actions ruin the longevity of a game

Most gamers want to play a fair, competitive, and challenging game. ZOS letting this stuff go unpunished, as they do with all exploits, is driving me away from the game. It has literally gotten to the point where all in game achievements are questioned. Did you earn Emporer or simply engage in emporer flipping? Did you earn that necrotic horver pet or did you down scale dungeons to get all your achievements? Did you earn 501 CP or did you bot your XP or exploit something like Camo Hunter (when it was a stacking exploit) to do 1500 5min speed runs of vCoA? Hell, now people are even paying money to have others remote their accounts to beat vMSA.

PvP exploits are even worse as it more directly effects other players gaming experience. Did you run two mundus stones and a set other than TBS via the exploit? Did you have the benefits of both vamp and WW at the same time? Did you single handedly wipe out an entire zerg by exploiting Camo Hunter or Monster Trap? Etc. All these things result in massive benefits on the battle field.

ZOS really needs to take a long look at their policies, because as it sits right now, I don't know a single person that believes ZOS gives a (poop) about exploiting or cheating. Everyone believes, unequivocally, there will be zero repercussions for it and therefore the only deterring factor is ones' own moral code. And it is quite unfortunate that most peoples moral compass doesn't quite point north.

You forgot about instant death. Yesterday i was standing still texting to my friend and a DC NB 1 shot me, and i said wow did he just hit 25k or something ? then i checked my death recap there was 6 light attacks and 1 surprise attack...People uses scripts or macros but no one gives a f**ck. They only care about designing fancy stuff and grabbing your cash.

In real war traitors get shot so your logic fails there if you can't kill a traitor it isn't war it is a farce.

Very true. Traitors cannot get shot in this game.

But what could happen is Zenimax, acting on behalf of the injured faction and having received clear evidence of the behavior, could condemn the traitor and, oh I don't know, maybe ban them from the game?

Really, I didn't even think this was supposed to be possible. I have two characters and they cannot be on the same campaign. How do these people have both an AD and an EP character in the same campaign?

Can also get a lift in from anyone, that still works.
