Templar Tank and Points

I thought I'd try tanking as a templar. From what I've read, dragon knight would be a better choice but I've also read read that templar isn't too bad. I'm having trouble deciding on how to spend attribute points. All points into health and enchant with magicka and stamina is what I'm thinking. I only plan on using 3 or 4 weapon abilities and everything else class. I would think I would need a lot of stamina for blocking but then a lot of magicka for my class abilities. Would I have enough stamina and magicka if almost all comes from enchants or should I use some attribute points? Thanks.

If you set it up right, you should barely have to put any attribute points into health. This is how my Templar tank looks:

With only 4 attribute points in health I've got 31K health, which is more than enough. This setup uses prismatic enchants on all armour pieces, tri-stat purple food, and buffs health via the 5-piece bonus of the Armour Master set, the Undaunted passive, and having Structured Entropy slotted.

As you can probably guess by the fact that I put so many points into magicka (and the fact that my magicka pool is about 30K), the vast majority of the abilities I use are magicka-based. I never find that I have any issues with running out of stamina, but that's partially due to my Redguard racials.

Actually, I would have put all of my attribute points into magicka, except that when I'm in my DPS setup those 4 points are the difference between having enough health to survive a slip-up and getting insta-killed every time I screw up slightly.
