Change Campaign for free?

I want to change campaign now, but it shows me that I have to pay 150k gold to change it. Is it possible if I wait for more time and it will give me a chance to change campaign for free? Or I have to pay 150k? Thanks.

If you wait until the campaign ends you can change for free

There is a timer but I don't know what it is. I think it is based on the the campaign length. You can change for free at the end of it I know.

Edit: there use to be an option to set it to change automatically at the end of your current campaign. Not sure if it is still there.
