My wife has just discovered the game. It's the first time she has played anything other than candy crush or patience so you can imagine there is a HUGE learning curve, just watching her try to move around can be painful at times. She has just reached level 9, my son and I (v8 and v10) now find ourselves queuing for time on the game. I'm wondering how long to leave it before putting together another gaming pc and setting her up with her own esol account.
Look forward to seeing future vids.
My recommendation would be sooner than later. Do it before she is invested too much in a character on your account! You can always justify it by building a new gaming PC for yourself and giving her your current one if you think there's a chance that she may not stick with it.
Plus with the added bonus of being able to play with you makes all the difference in the world in my opinion. My wife and I decided years ago if we were going to invest time in a hobby like this, it would be something we can do together.
Seconded. I'm the wife is a husband/wife duo. He's been playing online games since Ultima, but ESO is my first MMO. It's been challenging for me to learn the mechanics well enough to play with others. I've mainly played the single player ES games up to this point, so ESO was perfect for us.
Though, as a wife that usually gets the computer hand me down business, I would suggest you build HER a computer instead of handing yours down. We wives like new computers, too.
Already promised the current gaming rig to my 14yo son (also ESOL fan), so just ordered an i7 gaming laptop for her and set her up with her own account yesterday that my son is now grinding up to roughly where she is.
Awesome.
And a PvP episode is coming. Just slowed down due to the holiday season. Lots of us traveling, etc.

It was great fun running with these guys, even if they did catch me singing.
