Agreed. Magnum shot is decent too, but without snipe it'd be a useless skill line.

Meh, if they nerf or remove Snipe, then they need to nerf or remove Wrecking Blow too.

Everyone has access to these 2 abilities, and you can even use both on the same character, and both are very popular. This is just the nature of PVP. ESO PVP in particular is not intended to be an e-sport, it's a simulated war against 3 opposing factions. People don't play nice in war and the playing field is only level when people use the best weapons available to all sides, I.e. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

I see nothing wrong with Snipe or Wrecking Blow. They're available to be used by anyone, so if you want the same advantage the other guy gets by using them, then use them yourselves. Or get better at countering them.

Cyrodiil isn't about e-sports after all and it doesn't have to be "fairly balanced" for all character builds.

Hell yeah. Proc frag, wrecking blow for empower then throw your frag when they're in the air and profit.

That's entirely up to you, all I'm saying is that there's nothing stopping people from using it outside of personal preference.

If you want the same things your opponent is getting then use the same strategy they're using. If your playstyle is more important than beating the other guy, then that's a choice too.

Useless.

Like, templar using naught but jesus beam level useless. Especially due to their habit of standing absolutely still and waiting to give up their AP.

Venom Arrow, Dodge roll, Venom arrow, Heavy attack + BOmbard, Heavy + Venom is usually sufficient to put most LOLgolas sorts down. it's also why this one is most persistent in getting archers to find room on their bar for a more versatile skill.

Of course this one does use it as well, but only from stealth or to otherwise say hello before the real good skills get brought out to play.

If you are having trouble with the skill this one suggests doing the following.

1) Run Radiant Magelight or be in a group with someone smart enough to do so

2) Hold block now and again

3) Don't stay still. If you stand in place to long someone like Telel IS going to open up on you.

4) Go into stealth if you're not doing anything.

5) Look up. Especially when taking a resource flag.

6) Play with your group instead of hiding behind it. Snipers LOVE people who hang back as everyone else goes forward as they're soon out of healing range. Ironically these are usually the dopes who rely on snipe.

7) Get a good gaming mouse and hotbind dodge and interrupt keys to the side buttons. This one uses a razr naga and if you watch their videos you'll see them pull off some darn quick reactions without needing macros and such.

8) Stuns and interrupts make a LOLgolas cry.

Venom arrow, Deep Breath, Piercing Javelin, etc, etc. This one's primary source of rage tells are from goobers who accuse this one of hacking to kill them when really all they did was do a venom arrow+ LA combo eveytime the goober drew back his bow.
