It is not a scam. No one is deceiving you.

Someone believes that the time they spent farming that Kuta is worth 20k. You are free to disagree, just as they are free to refuse to sell you their time for less gold. They don't have a monopoly because you can farm for as many Kutas as you like and they do not control the supply. They can sell the Kuta they farmed for, for 10k, 20k,50k or 1m gold. You have to decide whether the gold, the Kuta or the time is more important to you.

The gold is the cost YOU have to pay to leave PvP and farm for Kutas. Is it worth it? No? Then leave PvP, farm Kutas for yourself and save that gold. Yes? Then pay someone for their time.

Don't try to bully them out of their time and effort because you want something they have without paying consideration they want.

The price of Kuta must be adapted to.

To be fair, some people here are not complaining about your run-of-the-mill casual seller, but rather about those who but up all the cheap stuff and resell it at much higher prices.

One reason people say they don't want a global auction house is to prevent this behaviour. But with anyone able to buy from any guild store (even though you can only sell in your own guilds), if you put your mind to it you can derail the economy by starving the market and price gouging. I've seen this happen with VR14 mats - at some point you simply couldn't find any except at 5x or more the normal price, and always from the same people.

Maybe it's time ZOS limited purchases to your own guilds, or introduced a few days' cooldown before you can re-list stuff you bought from a guild store.

This comment is hilarious im trying to bully people by wanting fare price goods..... xD anyone saying its a fare price clearly havent read the whole thread and seen the difference in price between consoles and servers we pay double what anyone else does 3xs as much as pc, but im the bully for wanting a fare price for eryone i got my kutas now from someone in this thread with a trade but still feel the price is unjust and unfair for the whole of the eups community and needs addressing not accepting this is how it is people taking advantage and abusing the current system making a whole community pay over double what people class as reasonable its not right and not fare. p.s the people selling them usually put zero effort into gaining them other than paying gold then more than doubling them

    Ps4 EU prices

    Dreugh wax 6-8k
    Rosin 5-7k
    Tempering Alloy 13-20k
    Kuta 18k and beyond

With those prices real glad not playing on console. Dreugh wax alone is about 2.5k. Which gives some idea of the price difference.

hey @Spawn_to_kill, yeah i dolled out 42k for 2 kuta the other day PS4/EU. it sucks big time especially if you just pvp. when your reward for the worthy is 215g and the end of campaign gold is 19.5k its hard for a PVP guy to get buy

I think its just high demand. Anything below 20k is snapped up but 20k is kind of the price people begin to say. Rekuta enchant will do for now.

PS. buy some of those akavari motifs and sell them or speak to @cazzy i think she mentioned she was willing to trade. I know one guy sold one of the 500,000AP akavari motif's for 250,000 gold. and about now all those that sold the styles cheap are gone there might just be enough demand to get you similar price or at least 150k gold. (if you are in a trading guild)

    good luck

    This is called BUSINESS.

Everyone gets their enjoyment from different things. Some people really love PVE, while others really love PVP. There are people who truly enjoy crafting. There are also people who really enjoy the thrill of making money in the game.

For those who enjoy the thrill of the hunt for stuff to sell whilst playing, and that can come from farming high end items, to shopping various trade guilds for bargains that they know they can resell and make money on, this is just as valid a form of entertainment as any other in this game.

This game, and every other MMO in existence has an economy. It has inflation and deflation. ZoS's primary job is to keep the economy from becoming so oversaturated with gold that the economy collapses due to hyper inflation. This is done via gold sinks in the game, and is why the new high end gear costs so much to make via special tempers, reagents, page glue, etc.

Their other job is to regulate how much of the truly rare drops are entering the game. If too many of a very rare but needed commodity enters the game, then the prices plummet and the economy tanks due to hyper deflation. Just like in real life, extremes in either direction via inflation and deflation can not only wreck the economy, but can also bring down governments, or in this case, the game as well.

Just keep in mind that like in real life, business is cyclical. Products rise and fall in price. Get used to it. It's just the way that business works, and trading within the economy of an MMO is just that. A business. For some it's just a hobby. For others, it's a small business. And for some, it's big business. Let people enjoy playing the game the way THEY want to. You wouldn't want them telling YOU how to play and enjoy this game, would you?

yet another reason why guild traders needs to go. I've got so much *** sitting in my bank that I could be selling. I have kuta coming out my ears. I have multiple imperial motifs. Heaps of blue and purple motifs. Crafting stuff galore. All of that is just sitting there doing nothing and will continue to do so until Zenimax actually implement a practical, convenient, yet non gated form of exchange.

This just means you need to lower your prices.

No, I get the feeling from their post that they aren't actually selling any of it via trade guilds. They're holding onto it until some sort of game wide auction house is established. So telling them to lower their prices is rather moot.

If in the case what you're suggesting is true: refusing to use the trader system then complaining about it not working is.....self-defeating yes? Of course if you hold onto everything you're not going to sell it.

If you do use the traders and don't sell things:
    A) you're in a crap guild/trader location or
    B) your prices are too high

So No.... I get the feeling this one tried selling things and had trouble, then came here to ask for a global AH.

Just want to bring more attention to something said above. If you a way to make gold that folks like myself do not have the means to do and you like to PvP, convert your AP or Tel Var to gold.

First get an Akiviri Motif and sell it, then use the gold to buy your Kutas. I think by the prices I've seen here one Motif is about 6 to 12 Kutas. For Tel Var use Charcol of Remorse or VR16 Runes or something of that nature. I think the runes go for 5k gold on PC and charcol a few hundred a piece.

In short, If you PvP all the time, you already have the money, you just have to convert it.

I'm not sure I get the issue, its classic supply and demand, if someone wacks one on for 80k and someone is desperate enough to buy it for that then that's down to them surely.

I nearly bought white Ta runes for 2500 when I was leveling and desperate for Writs, I've got about 300 now and wouldn't pay 25! End game players have Gold, and potentially no interest in farming for hours so....

Oh, I have some Kutas for sale by the way ;)

It's funny I get Kuta every now and then for doing the crafter dailies. Not a lot but they do come in.
Had a large sack with five of them twice a few weeks ago in the Shadowfenns.
