So I have a vet 16 high elf Dragonknight that I have made into a half decent stamina build, I was wondering if I respec and change to a magicka dk would I do better in sewers ? I can run them solo but I can't help but be annoyed that I'm missing out on my racial passives1 are magicka dk really bad in IC ?

They arent bad at all against NPCs. Magic DKs do a ton of raw damage, but they are not in a great spot at the moment if you run into other players. As you said, you race suggests a magic build though.

DKs have magical fire damage, this makes all high elf abilities come into effect if you are magicka. You can flap wings all day as magicka.

You get flame whip too. I dunno much about DKs, however when I have lost to them (recently omg! It has happened!) it's a completely different style, it's more focused on timing and resource management, waiting for the right moment to unleash hell.

If you do go magicka, Id love to see what you end up doing

Racially, you are more geared for magica.

Max magica, regen and fire/frost/lightning damage (force pulse/crushing shock uses all 3, destro atracks, sorc abilities, Dk abilities...)

But, stam DKs are stronger than magica currently in pvp. So you might still do better as stam.

It'd have to be a trial and error thing really

Your damage will be drastically mitigated by NighBlades who dominate the sewers population. So I would say mag-DKs are bad in sewers.

Everyone keeps saying stamina DK is stronger than a magicka DK unfortunately that isn't true.

If we go 5 med 2 heavy stam dk against a 5 light 2 heavy magicka dk, magicka dk will win all the time (if they know what they're doing) any class can win all the time. I've faced plenty of magicka DKs who were awesome even though they relied on block casting they still did well keeping me trapped.
Other magicka Dks who went raw damage route (no shield but dual wield nirn swords) they'd flame lash me for back to back 5ks.

Most of the time I'd come out on top but I literally have to run and gain distance (against the good ones) seeing I use 2H + bow.

I am going to switch to magicka and see how things go! As things stand when I run the sewers I'm not looking for others to pvp against as my stamina DK just isn't mobile enough. So I'm just looking to collect stones and be able to deal good damage and sustain by myself.

I think that this will be easier with a magicka DK due to the passive so of a high elf, il be able to run a resto staff to give myself a decent heal as being stamina it's very hard to do!

I'd say look at a 3:1 ratio of magic to stamina
Using a 2-hand sword. Whip, cause when you knock them over and then whip twice to heal it does massive dmg especially if you're a Redguard and gain stamina with the sword play

Do you think i would benefit from using the spell damage Mundas stone instead of increase crit levels ?

I'm sitting at 60% spell crit but only 1,700 spell damage which is low!
