ESO Crown Store and ESO Plus will not be available on PSN Asia?

Hello,

I'm one of the surely many sadden players who are not yet able to purchase crowns and related product.
I live in China and only had 2 choices when purchasing my PS4, Japan or HongKong. I went for HongKong cause gave best chance to find HongKong games (for redeeming bonus codes)
The game was released in its standard version on the HK PS store however the link to purchase crowns in-store sends to a blank page and so it is impossible to purchase anything that costs more than the 500 crowns automatically granted buy game purchase.
I really really really want you guys to take my money in exchange to ESO plus, Imperial edition, adventurer pack and so on.

Is my dream ever going to come true or am I wasting my time here?
playing the standard version in alright but with such limitations is merely half the fun, not to mention that I have to walk every-freaking-where and I could really use a mount..

I just spent 2 weeks asking the support and finally got redirected here (also my account credentials were not working)

Hope I can find some peace of mind

my PS4 is from HK which up to some extensions is not mainland China. Either way the issue here concern the entire Asian continent.. not even sure Aussies can purchase crowns..
And if I was to play the game on PC/Mac instead of PS4 I would have no problem buying crowns and related items

they simply need to create the "purchase crowns link" on the asian Playstation stores.. I don't even think it's such a complicated thing to do and it would bring them lot's of happy and happily paying customers..

Dear ZeniMax/Bethesda, PS4 players on the Asia PSN Stores (Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, etc...) can't purchase "ESO Crowns" nor subscribe to "ESO Plus".
That means Asian players will not have any access to future "ESO DLC Content" that will be included in the "ESO Plus Subscription Service".

Is there any reason for this nonsense? Why discriminate against other Regions??!!

I live in Singapore and have the same problem.

All I want is to subscribe to "ESO Plus" and purchase a mount. I find it incredible that they would turn away thousands of customers in Asia wanting to spend money.

I'm based out of Singapore and connected to PSN Asia. I just checked the Crown Store, and it shows that you can purchase Crowns in sets of 1500 and 3000 crowns! Looks like it just went live today!

yep, confirm from the HK PSN. are those the only two packages available for console?
PC/Mac have 5500 crowns packages as well the more you buy the cheaper they cost.. and i'm sure I'd rather buy the 5500 package then 2*3000...

good enough for now, but why we can't yet subscribe for ESO Plus??

Two of my friends visited China...one being Vietnamese but grew up in Australia, and another from Norway who was my classmate in a Japanese language school in Japan.
Both hated it. mainly for 2 reasons - lack of manners and cleanliness, and The great firewall of China. No Facebook, No Youtube, No Google, No twitter, No Adult entertainment sites, and anything that china finds that might cause harm to China such as free speech.
Can you live without these websites?
Maybe you should check the wiki on blocked sites and blocked keywords in China. For me, No FB, Google and youtube...goodbye China.

Ever heard of VPN? I can get all those sites that are "blocked"in China.. your assumption is to the least ridiculous..
China is a great country, and the only thing I'll grant you is that Chinese people really lack in basic manners.
but at least I get way cheaper Japanese food and techs at prices you'll never even dream of in Japan and "real" Chinese food which is, on several aspects, even better than Japanese (even just for the variety of styles).
The real worst part of living in China and which might be the reason I won't stay in this country forever is the level of pollution which is getting worse and worse and definitely pushes me not to want to have kids yet as I would very much like to raise them healthy. China is also way less racist than Japan and being submissively polite is not the same as being polite. Japanese people can be real *** as well, especially with foreigners and people they don't know in general. Chinese people may be not polite, e.g they spit on the ground, burp freely, can't stay in a line or wait for their turn to get on public transportation, etc but they are nice to others no matter where they are from, they are generous and selfless.
HongKong people don't spit but they are spoiled brats compared to mainland China.
Taiwanese people win the cake though as they are Chinese but developed in a smaller society (the whole of Taiwan has less population than Shanghai) and that allowed them to be more civilized for what concerns manners. But they only have taiwanese food, which is delicious but quite limited in variety and the Chinese food u can fond there is super limited and almost always not authentic.
Also writing all that crap when you have never even been in this country just doesn't make any sense.. you cannot give opinions based on worse than second hand experience.. Visiting a country and living in a country are two very different kinds of experience so your friends with their limited and probably biased experience didn't really do you or your opinion of China a favor..

What is wrong with that? Free speech can be very dangerous if misused e.g. for criticism; everyone would suppress what he would find harmful, not just China. Admittedly, sometimes it is wiser to let people speak freely in order to identify perfidious elements within society.

Google is borderline, their search engine is probably still the best, though I would say its searching capability declines as Google's desire to direct users, rather than provide them with relevant results, increases. So it may be non-issue a few years from now.
Youtube is only as good Firefox's downloading extensions for it.
Facebook and Twitter, much like the rest of Google, by all means, away with them. Presonally, I do not understand why is the Party so hostile towards them, given they have so much in common in areas such as mass surveillance and planned internet.
