Here's an idea... don't progress beyond stage 1 vampirism... then you don't have health regen problems. It is always amazing how vamps complain about health regen, but then allow their character to advance to stage four. I keep my vamp at stage 1, occasionally stage 2 but no further and I never have health regen related problems.

you can't go feed every few minutes in pvp and no one cares about the health regen.

So clearly there are some people who care about vampire health regen.

Let me explain it to you, i like being a vampire, cause i wanna play as one. This is more of a RP decision than anything else. yet i don't actually roleplay.

That is like talking on the forums, without actually saying anything. does that sound familiar to you? i'm sure it does.

Why do vampires have slower healing even at stage 1? the quest in ESO states that Lamae Bal ,when she was turned her bones healed before the nomads who cared for her indicating vampires have super healing...so again why do we have slower healing?

Wear wolves are affected while not transformed. Also it's 25% increased fire damage and the health regen is reduced by passives. I think fighters guild abilities are simply too good and that Vampirism is fine. Bring fighters guild abilities in line with other skill lines and there's no issue

Just for clarification: "Her wounds healed." She wasn't a skeleton that gained flesh. It's not "super healing"... but yes, she did heal right before the priest's eyes.

Before Skyrim: Dawnguard, vampires in the Elder Scrolls were just pale player characters with some passive bonuses and weaknesses. The Dawnguard vampire lords were specifically mentioned as rare pure blood vampires, who had received their gift directly from Molag Bal or another pure blood vampire. There's no precedent or reason lore-wise iirc to extend the current vampire skilltree. (I think the comparison to Werewolves is odd. Comparisons often don't make good arguments, but here in particular: becoming a werewolf is a transformation (Ult) by which you lose all access to weapon abilities and class abilities. So werewolves have werewolf skills to fill up the hotbar.)

I appreciate the wish for vampire specific dialogue etc., but the same can be said for a lot of things. Race specific dialogue (of which there is some in Orsinium!), class specific dialogue, gender specific dialogue. A few instances of each could be fun, but this game is simply way, way too large to implement this noticeably and meaningfully. It prolly has 3 times the VO Skyrim had. So redoing existing dialogue is out of the question.

This is only about vampirism, nothing else.

If i can get one shot with 20k camo hunters (which shouldn't happen at all, vamp or not), then please give me some meaningful skills that make being a vampire at least somewhat enjoyable.

The more you feed the more human you look , maybe turning in one those big bats would been a better ultimate , can you see a werewolf fighting that big bat.

    Currently, Vampires need 3 things:

    1) A fix to the gap closer mini-stun as this would solve much of Mist Form's issues.

    2) A fix to Expert Hunter proc'ing way too often. A global proc cooldown (~2s) would likely solve this.

    3) A slightly longer stage duration and/or way to control stage degredation when in dungeons or Cyrodiil (even a farmed consumable like soul gems (blood vials?) could work).

*4) A charm/fear ability would be nice as well.

I think there needs to be a couple more skills to offer at least one or two options a player might really want to place on their bar and sacrifice a class or other important skill.

a gap closer maybe. - like ambush crit rush or dragon leap that maybe has giant bat wings or something as part of the animation.

AOE of some sorts maybe. mini bat swarm?

Well, I would like to see vampire have fifty precent weakness to fire, or they can lie about it and says its fifty that way it feels more like they are undead and it would be nice if they gave females and male vampires fangs that show when you are feeding or opening up the mouth and making the vampire eyes more red would be very epic in stage three and four at stage three they start to glow red at stage four they are pure glowing red.

    1) Need more to solve mist form, being eligible for auto-targeting and the alliance war floaty symbol over your head (not sure if ZoS did something about this, been a while since I've seen an enemy vamp use this abaility) really undermine the whole purpose of the ability.

    2) The cooldown is actually in place! But stealth ignores the cooldown which is why triple porc one shot builds are a thing.

    3) Interesting idea, however stage 4 is so beneficial I'm not sure this is worth the effort.

    4) Yes it would!
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    4) Yes it would!

    1) I agree that more adjustments may be needed but I think starting small and making additional changes is the best way to go (a.k.a. ZOS' 2-year plan). I dropped Vamp on my Templar since it was underperforming and a large part of that was Mist Form.

    2) A cooldown that can be bypassed isn't really a cooldown, which is why I suggested a global one.

    3) Some players actually argue about this so why not throw them a bone even though I agree with you. The simplest solution is to just extend the stage degredation to 2+ hours per stage. Players that want stage 4 would just take a day to degrade while those that want stage 1 or 2 could control it more easily.

Why don't they sparkle though? I had just finished watching all these amazing vampire vs werewolf love action films and I came to ESO and we don't have that. WTF! Vampires need to sparkle and they need a summon Bella spell as their ultimate. When summoned, she whines and can't decide on a lover and then your dungeon group wipes.

I'm fine with the animation for the most part, reminds me of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. But I would like to have a more traditional feeding animation (with fangs!). Perhaps they could use the ranged feed animation for non-humanoid NPCs and a traditional one for humanoids.

I want them to add the grapple and bite animation and also keep the ranged feeding the ranged feeding is cool but they need to have both!, now I really liked the vampire feeding ranged version but they should have fangs and feeding up close, they could add this later on. This would make vampires so much better as well.

What I don't get is if Vampires are so naff why is every other person in PvP a vampire, every battle I am in has at least half a dozen bat swarms going round.

I personally believe that people who play Mortals (Non Vampire non Werewolf) need some bonus a divines bonus they can get at a shrine or something like that.

Well most of those players don't play for just being a vampire they do it to dominate pvp and use it for pvp builds they are not much into the immersion of being a vampire either, and batswarm is a good ult it can drain health or make one invisible and attack while invisible. They use this in builds.

As for divine benefits they could add shrines to all the divines that give benefits but for just mortals no they would not make that excursive even if your cursed with vampirism or lycanthropy, they have not done that for either oblvion nor skyrim but the only times divines did not bless you in oblvion was if your a murderer or thief. But it would be intresting to see them add divine benfits like in skyrim for a certain amount of time and diseases you can be infected with and vampires and werewolves would be immune to those diseases.
