How to get legendary jewellery for the briarheart (Orsiniam) sets?

I have seen multiple screenshots of the jewellery, legendary, yet I've only seen purple.

Has anyone, on live, gotten gold jewellery yet?

(Also, why is it that if Im on a stamina DPS toon, I ONLY seem to get pieces for the healer/tank sets, and vice versa, friends playing tanks only get dps/healer sets?)

Playing tank, 90% of set pieces are Trinimac's Valor healer set, 90% of that is well-fitted trait.

Maybe it was a pts scrennshot. On pts you can try sets and are all gold.

I thought all Jewellery set drops where Epic (Purple), and that you can only get Gold jewellery from being in the top 2% of a PvP leaderboard.

The only way to get VR16 Purple jewelry is from the daily quests in Orsinium. Every chest drop has been only VR15 Blue and after a week I have only been able to get 1 VR16 Blue ring.

If anyone has found purple jewelry from another source, please share.

I'm pretty sure that the game intentionally gives you the worst possible set for the character you're playing

I got a Purple VR16 Briarheart ring from a regular chest in Wrothgar a few days ago...no treasure map. In theory, if I had the Treasure Hunter passive it would have been gold.

Are you doing the daily Wrothgar world boss quests? From that, I am getting all kinds of gear, Trinimac, Briar and Pariah. I have 3 fulls sets of those pieces, most of which are V15 but still. Almost all of those pieces are Divines as well. I've gotten a few from opening chests from Treasure maps but the majority of them have been from the World Boss Quest rewards.

I was wondering this too. Yes I know how to farm them with dailies and chest farming but how do you get gold ones? The only possible theory i can think of is using the treasure hunter perk from the shadow tree. If you would have got a purple one then that perk would have made it gold. It says treasure chests though and treasure chest are from maps not your regular chests. So, i don't know.

If i had to guess i would say you need that perk and do treasure maps and dailies.

The rules for Trinimac/Pariah/Briarheart are as follows.
They may drop from ANY scalable chest if the opener of the chest is at least v15+. This includes treasure map chests (80% chance of finding a set piece, all treasure map chests operate this way), chests found in Orsinium/Cyrodiil, and dungeons that are scaled to a group leader of v15/16. 30% for a blue v15 and a 10% for a blue v16.
They also may drop from both daily Wrothgar bags (Dungeon Delve daily and World Boss daily) and may come in v15 blue/purple as well as v16 blue/purple (I am not certain of the % chances for daily bags as I stopped running them and dropped my data collector)

You are sure right about that bro. For my Stam NB, I keep getting these V16 Purple Trinimac's Valor pieces with either Divines or Infused traits, but for Briarheart, I'm getting V15 blues with Well-Fitted, or a blue Ice Staff of Shock

never got purple v16, got a few (Finally 'completed' a set with blue v16 jewelry) - but this, being a stam based, is after finding FULL v16 purple sets for both other sets(with many, many, multiple peices) all of which have 'prime' stats (IE: divines on all, one set having infused on chest/legs, IEv2: Best possible traits) except on briarheart (the set i want lol) which has magika on jewerly and well fitted on gloves.

I sorta half assed gave up on it for now (the game too, f04 is very distracting lol) but I hope when I get back to grindage i can get them in time.

I DO have to say I think the 'stats' for the chests are absolute bubkiss, since I've opened at LEAST 30+ 'treasure map' chests and maybe HALF Of them (DEFIANTLY NOT 80%) dropped BLUE set pieces(V15) - Not a single v16 purple piece, among all of them. As for 'world' chests one just finds out there (the normal locked ones) only the very hard ones have any chance to drop a piece and all of them are always v15 blues, and the chance is abysmally low, like 1 in 50 maybe. (Those world chests are a good source of materials but not much else)

Has anyone seen a gold jewelry piece from the 3 new dropped sets? I farm chests every day and often 5 WB's plus delve (I can't stand poachers), and while I have a stash of purple V16, I would have thought I would have seen something gold by now even if it was an arcane Pariah ring.

I think after they changed the VMA weekly rewards you can't get the gold jewlery anymore. I remember @Alcast and @Dracane mentioning it before and maybe they could shed some light on it.

They disabled jewelry and armor for weekly rewards because crybabies QQed they do not always get a weapon. And now we will NEVER be able to get jewelry in legendary ever every again unless they change it back

Yeah I tried that. Neither my stamblade or my mageplar can get that last trinimac ring to drop. I have gotten like three full v16 pariah sets though, maybe I need to level a tank to get the healer jewelry to drop.

the sets he is talking about drop in blue most of the time. Any purple pieces will always be v16, but blue will scale to your level. Have never seen any gold set pieces for Briar, Trininac, or Pariah. And these sets also only drop in Orsinium or Cyrodil. Nowhere else
