Heavy armor? How well does magicka dk fair in solo pvp and 1vX?
Whenever I finish saving up for my next mDK expierment, we should get a small leap party going!

@ebethke_ESO
Enjoyed the vid! I believe I dueled you yesterday and I melted on my vamp stamplar lol.
Two quick questions:
-Is this a heavy armor build?
-How well does this build work in solo and 1vX play?

Thanks Vynist
We did duel! I've seen you around frequently the last couple days. It is indeed a heavy armor build, with 1L/1M/5H. Solo, the build does very well up until a certain point (where enemy heals and/or damage exceeds your output). It does struggle with burst, as its built more for sustain currently. I've been able to fight 5+ people for a long time, but have often run into the trouble of not putting out enough damage to seal the deal.
To be honest, I feel the game has gone away from solo roam (sadly), so I've tried to build more to survive bursts while also putting out solid CC and healing debuff and pressure. I've been running in small group (2-6) and am often the focused player, so this build plays well with that role.
Ah I don't get included in the thank you message
I see. I see I see.
May I ask what sets you are running? Im trying seducer heavy and even then it's hard to get good sustain.

I'm running the following (may my secrets be revealed),:
- Bloodspawn Head, Light Impen since that's what I was given
- Bloodspawn Shoulder, Heavy Impen since that's what I was given
- Kagrenac Chest, Pants, Boots, Belt, Gloves, with infused on big and impenetrable on small (4 heavy with medium gloves)
- 2 Willpower healthy rings, magicka regen glyph
- 1 Willpower arcane necklace, spell damage glyph
- Torug's Pact S&B on DPS bar, nirnhoned/infused with disease and max magicka enchant
- Endurance S&B on off bar, defending/infused with absorb magicka (I think?) and max health enchant
Ideally I would have mostly prismatic enchants, but I currently only have 1 (since they're a ton of $$). Torug's Pact S&B gives me extra damage alongside the max magicka on main bar, while Endurance backbar increases my health by ~2.5k depending on buffs, resulting in a better Coagulating Blood.
With that, I sit around 2000 spell damage with 2000 unbuffed magicka regeneration. If you're running seducer I'd think you'd be okay on sustain with pots and ultimates (more so than me), but it may be related to your playstyle (if you like casting expensive spells etc.).
Quick, someone post a build video of my exact setup! (I would consider doing so, but I dislike the "you stole my build" thing going around so I'd only do it if people asked)

This is very similar to how I am setup, and it is working well. Some differences are that I've opted for Cost Reduction over Magicka Regen to give that a whirl, and I have noticed a big difference.
My main is an Imperial, their stats are 30k Health, 32k Magicka, 20k Stam. With double sword and board the Spell Damage is 2.2k - 2.8k, with DW, 2.5k - 3.2k ( still experimenting with this one )
The setup in general on a DK is exceptionally tanky, more tanky than necessary with the need for more damage with duo S+B. For example, before patch maintenance this morning with DW+SnB I noticed an irregularity on my stats after playing for over an hour. I was wearing zero jewellery.

I've noticed pretty much the same thing. Your stats sound way better than mine (prismatic?). I've noticed that I'm reasonably tanky with this setup as you've said, but it's tough to punch in kills with the damage output.
I'm waiting for ZOSE to change the PTS to NA so I can test the difference between cost reduction and regeneration. I'm pretty bad with the calculations since it's a bit tough to work with so few formulas, but I'll try to compare/contrast. My magicka sustain was very good with draw essence return, but I had to switch to deep breath to interrupt the rezz monkeys.

Yeah, prismatics on the big pieces with infused, normal magicka on the small pieces with impen. Then prismatics on the infused shields.
I did cost reduction this time round, because buff magicka regen is easy on the fly with Mages guild, pots, Support abilities and Continuous attacks. I'd rather have 1.5kish regen with low cost abilities, than 2.4k regen with super high cost abilities.
As far as I am aware, these forumlas are accurate enough, http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/pts-2-1-2-sorcerer-arithmagic/
