Breton Magick Templar advice

hi all,

I have a VR16 breton templar,

Currently running the following gear,
4 elfbane,
4/5 Kragenac's hope,(resto staff/swords, 1 heavy, 2 light armour)
3 will power(Inc Magicka Regen)

Mundus is the atronach,

i use mainly templar skills on both bars.

I am finding PVP a real challenge as I always die very quickly,
Please any advice on skills, CP's, or even gear...

I found having at least one piece of armor with nirn helped me. You probably don't want to over do it, but you will need some spell resistance. There is also a CP skill for this which might be of help.

I am not sure what elfbane will give you other than just a plumper punching bag.
I usually slot Dark Flare, and go all or mostly light.
Pretty much just 3-4 skills and I consider my job is to drop channeled focus, throw shards, BOL/Combat Prayer to farm AP,
dark flare from range when the latency rises and sometimes you can get lucky with massive damage to grouped enemies, then have dawnbreaker ready to go for melee combat.
Jabs is broke against damage shields so not even worth it.
DARK FLARE is the ace in the hole for group and MagTemp I have seen some crazy results/kill counts on Azuras with that.
