I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the poorly implemented Character Voice selection during character creation. Today you can choose to play random sound-bits for each of the voices, which are only labelled alphabetically. It is not easy to get a clear feel for each of the voices, and how they actually sound in game, because the samples are laughing and other sound effects that you rarely hear... When I finally finish the process of creating a character I'm really happy with, he ends up sounding Completely different when in-game. It's unbearable. You can't change the voice, and you can't event delete the character to re-create it with a new voice(if you have used up your "delete quota."
Can I please suggest that you label each voice with an appropriate flavour name and play the effects in a sequential manner, not random, and start with the sound effects that you hear frequently - like the combat sounds. Ideally, each sound sample should be labelled and selectable, so that you can compare it between the different voices.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
