@Kova been 2 days since the necro buddy, wheres this video?

I would've completely forgot to do it too. I'm notoriously flaky. Thanks for the reminder, guy.

Notice when AD steps in. As I said, they weren't the best NBs ever, but definitely some of the tankiest, especially for their levels.

Imho you should be rewarded for putting time into your character. Battle leveling is lame, but it's ZOS so that kind of casual catering doesn't surprise me :) Next we won't even need proper gear to be competitive. Fun!

I agree. While we are at it lets remove Veteran Ranks all together, normalize gear, put a cap on Conquest Points, and make you gain Conquest Points just as fast from PvP as in PvE.

As an aside... my VR3 Stamina Sorcerer has a much easier time killing VR16 characters then my VR14 Stamina Nightblade does.

If anything battle levelling makes the game MORE competitive.. Not less. It's like playing a tcg against someone who has a deck full of legendaries with ur basic starter deck. Is that competitive? Nope lol. Ur gona lose everytime no matter how noob he is or how good you are. Cp system still rewards you with a little edge if you play longer up to cp cap. There's other ways to gain progress such as farming Gold, hunting achievements etc etc. Also more time spent playing means ur going to be better in terms of skills to make hitting the leaderboards easier. This nets you better rewards no? Why do we keep thinking that we should worship those who spend 8 hours a day on this game and everyone who has a job and wife and kids (btw these guys are the ones most likely paying for u to Play this game and whine on the forums) need to be given no shot at beating them? I'm no casual and I spend a fair amount of time in eso. However I do think that battle levelling is the best thing that happened to eso pvp.

I put more time into the game grinding goblins in Crackwood cave I should be able to faceroll new players and feel super powerful!!!

My stats should be so much higher than lower level characters because I earned it. (by grinding pve)

ZOS fix it so I'm OP again and the amount of time spent grinding mobs in PvE matters more than player skill!!!

Giving newer players an actual fighting chance in PvP is good for the game. The only people who think otherwise are the ones that want to feel powerful by killing new players by the thousands like some sort of god. We had that playstyle in PvP before and it was not good for game health.

Besides, you still have the Champion system that allows you to hit 25% harder, regen 25% more and be 25% more resistant to certain types of damage than a new player with no vet toons. Isn't that advantage enough?

This completely. Many PvP players do want a huge gap and mow people down, it's why PvP is *** in most games. You have people that do nothing all day but PvP in a game and tend to ruin it for others.

I bet you wanted a trophy when your softball team lost too, right?

    I like the new system.

Everyone should have a chance. I don't have to grind mindlessly to vr16. Did that 4 tomes already. My vet 4 and vet 1 can just stay in pvp now. Every level, new purple gear and they're sorted.

The battle levelling is a good thing. Vr16 still has an advantage, bur everyone had a chance

Batteleveling system is useful for normal/low level dungeons. I dont know, Ill wait and see when Zen actually removes VRs and brings new CP-gears, but if the plan is to add CP-gears and later battlelevel everything, I'd imagine thats not the best way to increase your population, but I guess we will see. Why couldnt they just remove the VRs like the original plan was. The ball is on Zen's corner so to speak.

The drop off is sharp at about v4 so this is not that big of an issue. I think it is more of a buffer to give those truly new to v1 a chance to adapt from non-vet combat that does not teach you how to fight at vet levels. That and to let them have a break so they can get proper gear together.

I like the new system, the old system was really limited in gear you could use and damage output was quite low. Having to upgrade gear as you level is a bit of a downside though. The OP isn't completely wrong though, battle lvling can be strong if you min max, but as soon as you gain a few lvls you lose power and need to upgrade your gear again.

OP also doesnt list alot of things that factor into pvp damage/sustain such as regens and crit rate. its not all about weapon damage/ max stam. nightblades also get more stats in stealth compared to a stam sorc who gets more weapon damage for slotting storm calling abilities. Battle leveling is nice for new players and op for some with good gear and lots of champion points but I have never lost a 1v1 to someone who wasnt v16.

Think about your skills in playing the game and not this ridicoulous things. You wanna win cause you are better or because of your gear? To me stats should be equal to everyone and gear should be only aestethic. The best player wins. Cry me a river....
