Xpadder, works a treat. It gives you the best of all worlds as you still retain full keyboard/mouse and can configure the controller as you wish. Does exactly what you have asked for brilliantly. Will gladly post my xpadder settings if you like.

Also I just googled it and see some possible issues with Windows 10. Do you use Windows 10 and if so are there any issues.

I used Xpadder with Win10 without any issues. I no longer use Xpadder, though. I switch between Console and UI mode with the keybind, since most add-ons don't work in Console mode. This gives me the advantage of the controller for game play, and M/KB for menus....no 3rd party software needed.
