Damage & Bar swap?

Hi all. How do it work if i have a item set with a weapon in it, that give weapon damage and i swap bar to another weapon so i dont get the weapon damage bonus anymore. And i have used a DoT skill or a AOE that last some sec?
If i canst the skill with weapon damage and swap bar will the weapon so still give full damage or give less when i swap?

For example: you cast a DoT, and on that bar you have 40% crit chance.
You switch to your other bar that has 60% crit chance, you DoT will remain at 40% crit chance.
Works that way with dmg, crit %, heals, etc...0
