So what's the deal with Direnni Tower?

Why is the island not a place players can travel to in DC? Why is it we can only see it from the shores of Stormhaven but we can't go to there? I remember before the game's release I imagined being able to see it up close, but no.

I expect to see something happening there with the new upcoming storyline ... Maybe a group trial or group dungeon.

Fun fact, it was used in the main story waaaaaaaay back when they were building the game. The files were datamined.

Let me tease with this in-game book.

But I believe that we'll (properly) explore (lore of, or) the Adamant tower in TES games, not ESO.

Adamant tower (and the entirety of Tower lore) is far too important to be explored in-depth in ESO (or ESO timeline). I believe that when and if we get to explore the Adamant tower it will be in a "side quest" form that will give us more questions than it will give us answers (if it'll give any answers at all).

masser and secunda are the flesh divinity of lorkhan? like how nirn is made from the divines flesh divinity thus why the 8 and 1 can not manifest on nirn, is this not correct?

Anyways, the 2 moons are sometimes stated to be Lorkhan's remains (or his eyes, as some people exclaim "Lorkhan's Eyes") after Trinimac ripped his heart out and Auriel shot it with his bow to Morrowind, forming the Red Mountain (or Tower, and the heart is the Zero Stone)

About the 8 Aedra: they sacrificed much of their power to form Nirn after being tricked by Lorkhan. Magnus was on to him and managed to keep nearly everything as he left creation behind and tore a hole to Aetherius (the sun). But the 8 Aedra are still there, watching over Men, Mer and Betmer and sometimes even assisting them (Oblivion's Main Quest ending)

I tried to swim to this place today on my argonian with a speed potion and rapids. Couldn't make it :-( I used to love getting to unfinished locales.

Most people reached Direnni Tower by being partially disconnected from the game, which means no fall damage or being affected by slaughterfish.
