I prefer Ransack over Heroic Slash as the later is more expensive for nearly the same damage.

Both sets, Hunding's and Shield Breaker are ok as an alternative in my opinion but even if you are not able to craft Morkuldin on your own it should be pretty easy to find a guild mate or just any other player crafting it for you for a small fee if necessary.

I'll have to test them but the slow/dmg reduce and ult gen seem useful.

Though ransack is a lot cheap it may let me swap a few reduce costs for wpn dmg.

Wouldn't you be able to swap some reduce costs for wpn dmg glyphs? you don't seem to have stamina issues and ransack is so cheap.

Certainly. Although doing so might make you actually have stamina issues.

Being able to sustain is important, and I have prioritized this over base damage. This is partly due to my playstyle but more so due to an optimization of the build to perform in 1v1 scenarios.

Feel free to experiment with damage enchants, it should work very well. :)

Thanks will do, i rarely run around in on my own anyway always in a group of 2-5~.

Nice build though, now to figure out how much bash cancelling is going to kill my stam regen in console :(

    BUILD INTRODUCTION / PHILOSOPHY

What's the one thing your Dragonknight is missing right now? A SQUIRE!

Pick up this "Phantom Squire" build and get to work with a Stamina Dragonknight build that is outperforming every one of my previous builds for The Elder Scrolls Online. This build is made using new sets released in the Orsinium update (version 2.2.4 / 2.2.5).

I'm not just saying this - this is seriously my favorite build that I have ever created and used for ESO. Dropping heavy armor was really tough for me, but it was extremely necessary to remain competitive in PvP in ESO.

I became very disappointed with how hard I was getting hit in my Deadly Fortress build. It seems to me that PvP tanking in ESO is now an all-or-nothing effort. You either have to go all in with a full-on tank build or you just simply won't compete in PvP.

I have historically liked to build my dragonknight to with a balance between tanking and DPS, with tanking being the primary focus. This just wasn't working with the damage that other players are putting out with full V16 gear.

The flip side of that build style is to build for a balance between tanking and DPS, with DPS being the primary focus. That is what I have done with this build, and it is working so much better than my Deadly Fortress build.

Honestly, I really don't even notice a difference in how tanky I am with this build. This is mostly because Medium armor offers 75% of the resistances as Heavy armor, plus Bloodspawn gives me resistance stats that stack on top of Volatile Armor.

If you don't want to drop Heavy armor, you can still use this build! Morkuldin is a crafted set, so you can run my exact setup with Heavy instead. :)

    GAMEPLAY VIDEO CLIPS + COMMENTARY

    Stay tuned!

A good one, thank you for sharing!! :)

I have a question, I see in the video, at 3:18, that you have a multi-effect enchantment (all 3 attributes) on your chest piece. What is that? I never heard of multi-effect enchantments. I am only VR6, so maybe that is the reason and my enchanting is only L25 or so. How to do the multi-enchant? Is it possible with high level of enchanting? or is for that a special rune stone needed?

edit: ok, no need to answer that, I see now: prismatic enchants, interresting :)

I'm sorry about that! I haven't created a montage but there are a few stream highlights on my channel from this build. Bah! Too much going on. The top 5 series + streaming + work + family takes up a bunch of time! I apologize. :(

You had me at "no wrecking blow". Will definitely be trying out a version of this on my stam DK. Only have 6 traits at the moment though, so no Morkuldin for me sadly.
Would Hunding's still be an OK alternative?

Absolutely. Hundings is my recommended alternative for Morkuldin actually. :)

I want to try the morkuldin plus the lich crystal set. Do you guys think that will out perform the hundings/nenerieth set?

The nerien'eth set and the lich crystal set are the same sets - so it seems like the question is Hundings vs Morkuldin. I think Morkuldin is better if you can get it to proc frequently; in other words, if you have some nice animation cancelling, I recommend Morkuldin. Hundings still works great though - even if you have nice animation cancelling!

On the Potentate items, don't you find the VR10 choker to be a pretty significant downgrade from a higher level neck? Same question on the shield?

I have recently switched the 2-piece Potentates out for 2-piece Endurance and I honestly see absolutely no difference in performance.

Hey Lefty, did you use robust Endurance Neck, and what trait on the Shield? I assume since you mentioned having a base 20k health baseline beforehand, that you already had that covered and went robust/stam? Thanks man!

    So Lefty,

What changes would you recommend (if any) for this build in Dark Brotherhood?

I left the game for several months, forgot most of what little I knew, and now getting back into it since the release of DB.
Skill points got reset while I was gone, and this build looks fun to play.

My wife complains that I never listen to her. (Or something like that.)
    -- I'm a one man smurf zerg!

    My ESO addons:
Midnight - Find out when midnight is so that you can check for ww/vamp spawn.
Goto - Adds a tab to the map pane allowing you to teleport to a friend, guildmate, or groupmate for free.

Noob question here. Why do you switch between two handed and one handed in battle? Why not just use one?
