Would you like to see Flying Dragons in ESO?

There are no dragons in the time period with the exception of Paarthurnaax on the Throat of the World and Nahfahlaar/Nafaaliargus, the Red Mercenary.

No dragons. Whatsoever. I have a cardboard paper towel tube I use to bop my cats when they do something naughty. I'm going to start bopping people who keep asking for dragons thinking 'omg the game would be much cooler with dragons fo realz'. No. No it would not. Flying would completely degrade the expansiveness of the game.

Spells/scrolls of levitation would be more lore-friendly at this point, only you move slow as ass and it lasts a short time. Player pancakes anyone?

No. No because lore. No because lag. No because nothing about the skills or combat mechanics lend themselves to arial terrain. There are games that do flying mounts and combat. ESO should not become one of them.

Since "Turbo No" wasn't an option I'll go with the basic no. But just know... I mean TURBO NO. Dragons are not in the lore, it renders PVE essentially useless, tons of lag, breaks PVP, there's already a game out that is Elder Scrolls AND has Dragons, Take your pick of whichever reason you like most, or take them all, but either way keep dragons out of ESO.

I would enjoy seeing them and being able to fight them. Though I also understand that they aren't a big part of the lore in the games current timeline.

So, yes I would enjoy them. No, I do not think they belong. . . yet.

No to dragons and no to flying mounts cause flying mounts would break the game cause players could just use them to fly over keep walls and take a keep with out doing anything at all.

    No dragons cause lore.

This topic comes up over and over and over, and every single time it ends up being a wildly unpopular idea. Largely because enough players have at least a passing familiarity with the lore. Enough to realize that anything other than maybe a single dragon as a trials boss or something would be completely out of place and lore-breaking.

Actually, with a very very small number of exceptions (hence why a single dragon as a boss fight in the game would be OK), they're all dead. They've mostly been hunted down and killed. The reason they all come back in Skyrim is because you can't permanently kill a dragon so that he can't be revived unless you're a dragon yourself, or a dragonborn. To kill a dragon and make sure it can't be brought back to life you need to absorb the dragon's soul. In Skyrim Alduin knows the magic needed to bring all of those dead dragons back to life.

Skyrim is not in the ESO timeline, your statement has no relevance to this discussion.

From where ESO is taking place in the 2nd era, there are no known dragons on Tamriel. All other Elder Scrolls titles take place after the timeline of ESO, and their history documents that dragons are believed to have been eradicated during the Dragon War. They are believed to be extinct until their reappearance in the 201st year of the 4th era. You can't introduce dragons into the 2nd era timeline of ESO without breaking the lore of pretty much the entire Elder Scrolls universe.

With our knowledge of the future, we know the location of 2 living dragons in the 2nd era, but they cannot be exposed without breaking the belief that they are extinct, which is important through the 3rd era and the beginning of the 4th.

They do have dragons, Daedric Dragons otherwise known as Daedric Titans, now I can see them adding a couple of dragon npcs speical ones not seen yet or named or one as speical boss for a questline but no dragonborn so one day the dragonborn has to slay it in the future anyways and I bet it would not be easy either,They will not release dragons as main foes they will diffinently not do that but the only way I see a dragon being added is if its a speical boss and for a special quest requiring at least ten or more people to beat it.

Might be fun perhaps to see, but practically useless in the end. At the height, they usually circle in the air, it's impossible to attack them. Not to mention those, who don't have any ranged abilities. So why even have them?

Came here to say that. Take Mirmulnir for example, the first dragon we fight in Skyrim. He is last seen in E2 212 and there are no reports of him being slain, so he could very well be alive during the events of ESO, but it would contradict the established lore to see him in the game (and even worse, to kill him) since he only shows up again during the events of Skyrim. Yes, he hid for over a thousand years, then when he finally went out of hiding the first escaped prisoner he bumped into was the last freaking dragonborn. Talk about bad luck
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Actually, I just recently started a new game of Skyrim (partly because I was watching a couple of Skyrim Let's Play vids by @MissBizz and got a little nostalgic) and I noticed something in that fight with Mirmulnir that I never noticed before. Not only does the poor guy have the bad luck to immediately run into the last freaking dragonborn, but he has a moment of horrified realization where he says in surprise "dovakin!" Poor guy realizes how f'ed he is just a little too late.

Only a fool who cares not for the legitimacy of the series or a typical MMO player who came to ESO just because it was the next big MMO would want these things, a large portion of the player base are people who only play ESO because it's an ES game, break the lore and the game is no longer an ES game...Im sure you can figure the rest of that out yourself.

BTW how would your non-dragonborn kill them, seeing as dragons can only be killed by other dragons, anyone else just knocks them out if anything.

Well, not exactly. Anyone can kill a dragon (it's what the Blades were organized to do), and by the time of ESO almost all dragons had been killed by normal people hunting them down. It's just that only a dragon or dragonborn can absorb their souls once they've been killed, and thus only a dragon or dragonborn can make sure that the dead dragon stays dead forever (instead of just being dead for a millennium or so until Alduin gets a chance to fly around bringing them all back).
