Weapon Sound Effect Lost Upon Character Change

On PC... I noticed this since the last patch/update... If I log into one character, the weapon sound effects work fine... but if I log out and log into another character, I get extremely reduced sound from weapon attacks- even though the sound volume settings have never changed. I have to completely quit the game and restart in order to get the weapon sound back again on that character, but again, if I log out and log into another character, I lose sound again. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've had this bug a few times. It's really, really odd. Everything sounds quiet, and all I can hear is people shouting when casting abilities xD

Last night I was just using a Wayshrine and suddenly I lost volume on weapon effects and also mount whistle, etc. There is definitely something buggy going on.

Had this on console too. It seems to be that whatever first few effects you use near immediately after you gain control of your character once you log in lose their volume.

I lost sound from light attacks on both of my staves and Necrotic Orb one time when I logged in. Coincidently, I spammed light attacks and Necrotic Orb once I logged in. Everything else had normal volume. Had to logout/login to fix.
