Imperial City has its own little ecosystem.
PVE grinders farm stones so that experienced PVPers can slaughter them and steal their stones. The PVPers then buy mats and equipment to sell to the disgruntled PVE grinders who failed to buy a sigil of retreat to bank their loot.
So in the end, the gankers get their money, and PVErs get the goods they would have bought for the Tel Var stones they lost.
It's the great circle of life.

You can buy a sigil of retreat for AP, not TVs. You can also find them in portal chests. Or once you make 1k stones, suicide by mob then go bank. Sometimes I find people walking around with 1700-1900 stones, which is just risky because you're obviously aware there are gankers about. This doesn't seem at all fair for the PvEers. xD If they had the tel var, they could buy the mats themselves and not waste their own gold!
Also, how can a PvPer afford a 10k sigil if they have their stones ganked every 30 mins or so? In all seriousness, I feel like I typically can move a gankers heart if I talk to him/her. There's a cultural of acceptance towards gankers that allows them to think that what they do is ok, but it's actually really mean. T.T
One recent ganker that I spoke to said it was the only way he could get stones. I offered to show him how I solo grind tel var in the sewers when I am left alone. (FYI, I like to twitch broadcast my IC farming. My twitch account is Pandorii.)
Something has to be done. If ZOS won't change it, maybe we can by no longer accepting ganking as normal.

God no man.
There should be no restrictions like that in a PVP DLC. The thing I like most about IC is it feels like a mini open world PVP zone where anything goes.
If you're not prepared to fight, then you're in the wrong place. Go try Wrothgar, or the other 98% of ESO dedicated to PVE zones.
Hi All:
I was wondering if there were others out there who found the whole practice of ganking shameful. Essentially, people will form small teams and go around sneaking up on people in the Imperial Sewers, stealing the tel var stones they have taken time to farm out (instead of farming it out themselves). For the most part, I've tolerated it, seeing it as an inevitable part of being in IC, a PvP area, but should it be so? I was thinking maybe gankers needed to be exposed. Would having a public ganker blacklist be something that could effectively control the problem? At the very least, maybe this would allow karma to take its toll, meaning ganking the gankers.
P.S. I apologize if I've broken some forum norm with this post. I'm sure there are others on this topic, but I am looking for constructive feedback (not slander).

It is beyond absurd I can kill the same players almost endlessly as they continue to respawn and attack me with no reward! Its even set up that the more often they throw themselves at me the less AP I get. Then, if they do manage to kill me they get practically all the stones.
There should be a generation of stones when a player is killed, along with the percentage, I'd settle for a decreasing amount the more often a player dies.
That's because many of them aren't actually there for, and don't care about TVs. They just want to find a group of people and kill them. Having a TV stone restriction to get into part of the PVP area is ridiculous because they'd basically have to scout the districts for ages and hope THEY don't get ganked so they'd have to start all over again, or do PVE and farm enough mobs for 200 TVs.leepalmer95 wrote: »It's annoying when i turn around and kill my would be gankers and get nothing for it. If your going to go and take peoples stones you need to have some risk to yourself, it's one of the reason people are hating on nb's because apart from the fact IC is made for nb's they literally go to enemy sewers cloak through mobs gank and leave.
If they die then nothing they just go and respawn.

You've got so much AD pride. It's adorable!! xD
I'll be making an AD sorc these next few days, but I play mostly in EP.

AP should not be rewarded in IC due to the fact IC has no relevance to capping keeps scrolls and resources.
but then again gankers are trash players. i find joy in killing bannanas and getting messages over xbl saying how bad i am.
