Chest drop reward increase suggestion

A simple suggestion to make chests rewarding and not just a passerby. In other es games you got excited finding a chest eso I kinda groan at the wasted effort mini game lock pick for a mediocre reward.

Adding a rare chance for a chest to have like 1000-5000gold in it. Doing so would help players look more and have incentives to really look for them rather than skip the free lock pick and trash gear.

Also add chance of finding gold tempers at times similar to heavy sacks but only find one at a time.

It would give adventurer players an incentive other than ore farming as well as make the chests in dungeons over world and delves feel like an actual reward.

Yeah, like that would ever happen.

For it too happen, ZoS would have to overcome one of the over-riding aspects of the game - pushing people to the Crown Store. You have a choice of either grinding for nonsense rewards in the slim hope that RNGesus is going to smile on you (good luck with that), or buying it from the CS.

Guess which makes them money?

Your reply makes no sense since nothing in crown store can be sold for gold or adds value to anything. Also they stated their non pay to win nothing in crown store makes You win motifs mounts costumes are all cosmetic only the potions can be crafted at higher quality and everything can be bought with gold in game this topic about chest rewards having rewards has nothing to do with crown purchases.

I'd say 500-1000 tops. 5k and 20 chest, thats 100k right there. Its better we all are poor, than some are rich and some are poor, that just leads to own set of problems. I like the idea though. Why not to give some CP-rewards, like CP-boosters.

Treasure chests are SO common that any kind of meaningful reward would become trivial. Every time I go to Orsinium I can't help but trip on treasure chests others ignore.

Now, if they were to buff the rewards from chests found through treasure maps, then I'd agree with you. As it is, all I find there is maybe a slightly increased chance of getting a malachite shard (meh!) and possibly a blue VR15 set piece (meh!).

I think it's a good idea. In the beginning of the game I was like super enthousiastic when I found a chest. Now I barely look at them, they don't give anything useful anymore.

I think it's a good idea. In the beginning of the game I was like super enthousiastic when I found a chest. Now I barely look at them, they don't give anything useful anymore.

I think CP-booster is better idea, as CP-system is under control, so no-one cant get too power, or too rich. Maybe both, CP-boosters and little bit of Gold.
