Cadwells silver/gold and skill points.

So I am grinding a sorc and right now I am in silver and would like to know, apart from the main cadwells quests are there any other skill points to be earned in the areas that you enter.

Skyshards aside, if I run through just doing the main stuff will I miss skill points. I'm going to get to level 10 mages guild and fighters guild as quick as I can but it's mainly for pvp.

I think it is the same as your main faction. Certain quests give Skill Points, certain bosses in public dungeons give Skill Points, etc. Which quests would depend on the faction you are in.

I'm ep so I am in dc then ad. It's just cadwells silver first then gold obviously but the quests on it do they and only them give skill points.

I think:

- 3 Skill Points per Zone (main Alliance quest) = 10 * 3 = 30 Skill Points
- 16 Skyshards over 10 zones (Silver + Gold) = 160/3 = 53 Skill Points
- 10 Public Dungeons: 10 Skill Points

But honestly, you can make do without those: I have 84 Skill Points in 5 Crafting Skills. So if you have 1 main or a crafter char that did Silver and Gold, you don't need to do it again.

Don't forget the public dungeons. You get a skill point for killing the boss. There is one in each zone

But still, only need for Silver and Gold is to grab a few extra Skill Points if you need them

No problem! Oh and I forgot that each public dungeon also has a skyshard. Not sure if you counted those. So truth be told I would think that you would want to clear all of those at the very least as you get the most bang for your buck. With the skill point and skyshard that's 1 1/3 skill points for each dungeon

Also don't forget the normal and vet dungeon quests, although you can access them independently of the Cadwells runs.

Nah, they're included. There's 16 Skyshards per zone (7 in the open, 7 in delves, 1 in town and 1 in the Public Dungeon)

So I guess, there's 93 Skill Points to be gained from doing Silver and Gold.

But like I said: no need to do Silver and Gold completely right away. Maybe on your first char or on a crafter char if you need extra skill points. You could just progress through the Silver zones a bit until you have the Skill Points that you need, and resume Cadwell's when you're in need for some more. Like when you need another Weapon Skill Line unlocked or smth.
