v12 Signet of the Warlock Question

Does anyone know why these rings are considered so rare?

I have heard that they are a rare drop, but they don't seem that rare as I have 3 extra v12 ones right now.

Any idea what these v12 Signet of the Warlock should be sold for?

Sell them for 20k each to me, I'll take all three.

Otherwise, I think around 500k is the going price.

It depends on what other sets you use it in conjunction with. I myself find Warlock very useful.

It depends on what other sets you use it in conjunction with. I myself find Warlock very useful.

They are decent, but I've heard that v16 lich will be dropping from cyrodiil dolmens so not sure if they will still be as useful. Also with most people running golden v14 healer (which seems to be not as rare) I don't know if people would pay a ton.
While you may get the one guy that pays 500k, if you want to sell them all 200k would sound about right but don't go less than 150k.

ZOS refuses to admit they nerfed the warlock rings to the ground and refuses to explain why they did it.

It isn't even that powerful of a set anymore with the current meta. It was a poorly handled ninja nerf and its hurts itemization and customization options in the game.

Instead of letting others speculate why it was done, you should push to have ZOS admit they nerfed the rings, disclose what the actual drop rate is and what specific enemies in AA it drops from and explain why they did such a foolish thing in the first place.

The lack of transparency with design decisions like this is really bad for players and the overall game experience.

Well the 5-set as deemed to powerful for infinite resourse builds. With warlock proc every minute plus a potion every 45s its too easy to sustain your magicka. You could even go 5 ma/ha + 2 light warlock + 3 warlock jewelry and still have great magicka sustain. Back when there were softcaps this was the best way to increase your sustain.

More useful sets that were judged too powerful are skill capped at v12, rendering them useless with the new v16 cap and enchants. Its a shame not all sets get scaled up with the new level cap, soo much build potiental lost because of too low level sets..

I used Seducers 5 set bonus + Warlock 5 set bonus + spell damage 2 set bonus for leveling my Templar and with food and potions it is awesome for sustaining long fights or carrying pugs through dungeons and vet dungeons.

You never ever run out of magicka, you basically have infinite heals, stamina (repentance and spears) and damage for the group with no down time with spell damage coming from 2 set bonus + potions + structured entropy+champion points+class passives/skills. High Elf works really well with it too.

The reason why a lot of people want them is because on the PTS with the new pve content it's more about sustaining longer fights and less about burst now...

You also can use neck+rings to get 5 set bonus on warlocks freeing up your armor for other 5 set bonuses, which most other decent sets not coming from neck and rings. Is another reason why people choose it.

If you never run out of magicka, your team never dies in end game content so even if you get a bad group with low damage, it just takes longer but you still get the content finished...rather than running out of magicka after 20 minutes of fighting and wiping all the time...when you have to carry pugs, it's really really usefull...

But eventually with champion points now it does not matter, even without warlock sets and other sets you can sustain forever if you have enough champion points..

it is speculation. PTS patch notes mentioned they fixed the delve boss drops in cyrodill to not be level 50 anymore, although they only scale to v14 , I asked if this also included the drops from dolmen bosses, but I haven't seen an answer, also It won't be at v16, v14 is as high as it will likely go if at all.

ahh, boss drops in cyrodiil could be alot different than boss drops from dolmen.

Do really think ZOS will take all existing VR1-VR16 gear and roll it all into endgame? That isn't the ZOS way. They will probably end up making a new tier of "CP gate gear" with all new mats and upgrade materials and make us grind again.

Edit: They still never explained why they stealth nerfed the warlock rings.

Not existing, freshly looted. As in any set can drop at VR16/whatever comes after Vet Rank removal.

Could have been a returning player who didn't get Will power yet. Warlock used to be awesome but then again it wasn't as easy to stack stats as high and CP wasn't as easy to come by. There were reasons. Jewelry sets have always been limited.

Could of been lot of things. He said he had krags on too so

healers habit which has jewelry, is better then warlock for vr16, which that healer was, that writing about.
