What to do with all those unused skill and ultimate morphs...

Quite simple: make more stamina morphs and physical damage ultimate morphs. Right now magicka-based builds have more variety to choose from. Also, almost all ultimates are magicka-based, giving magicka builds even more advantage because their CP passives enhance the ultimates whereas stamina builds don't. There are a lot of unused abilities lying around collecting dust. Why not make more stamina morphs and ultimates that benefit stamina builds?

Just a thought.

I feel the better option would be to remove them from either magic or physical damage and make them their own "ultimate damage" this way ultimates wouldn't favour either of the two ways of playing.

There would of course have to be some kind of balance pass for this if it was a damage type which wouldn't be resistible by any means.

True, HOWEVER the point was the damage they do "magic" is something that Stamina DPS will not have champion points in and it's unfair to make them split their CP that way. There should be one Ultimate that does physical dmg for each class to be fair. Currently DK is the only class with a physical dmg ultimate.

Don't get me wrong, but in magicka builds, ultimate is a key factor, while in stam builds, it is only flavor. You can do a lot of dmg without using ulti in a stamblade or a stam DK, but in the case of a magblade, you need to slot those skills which synergyze with thaum.

In my stam blade I used to split points between mighty and thaum, but lately I chose going on full mighty and that implied to move from incap strike/soul tether to soul tether/ flawless dawnbreker, with double flawless db as final option since the extra dmg given to weapons is quite useful. The ulti? I barely use it when i see a vamp.

If we allow more physical dmg ulti, the gap between magicka builds and stam builds will grow bigger. Those ulti favored by mighty, with a 25% extra dmg are going to be insane... not to mention the increased dmg in case of crits.

Just imagine incap strike or soul harvest in a stamblade in that case.
