Just curious because at the moment i just realised i won't have access to any aoe skills for a while.
Just single targeting mobs is pretty slow.

qwyksylver✭✭Leveling siphoning until you can get drain power will be your fastest aoe skill to get. ✭✭I never understood the idea of a levelling build....
levelling 1-50 is the time to be literally trying out and levelling every skill available.... it's quicker to level them then rather than endgame, you get a much better feel for how they all work too.
Sure you can maybe slot an extra siphoning skill to get to that hallowed 5th skill unlock... but beyond that I've always thought a levelling build was a missed opportunity.GM of the Unholy LegacyPC/EU/EP2 -

Well it's not my first nb so i kind of know most of the skills, A leveling build is literally a build that can keep you alive while letting you take out large groups of mobs with aoe without dying xD

✭✭Use whatever weapon you want just make sure you have every single siphoning skill on your bar that you possibly can, at all times. You can get sap essence at level 25, I'm about to get it at like 26 or 27 since I didn't min-max it just right.2013

Imdrefan✭✭✭It's much easier to go Stam to aoe level with brawler and just slot all your siphoning skills. Brawler makes you way less squishy too.

moonsbreath✭✭I can't say I exactly /have/ leveling builds but magicka NB does suffer from lack of AoE and sustain early on.
On my magblade, I started it off with 5 seducers and 3-4 magnus or kagrenac. It'll give you some spell damage, but at this point you'll be starving for sustain and that'll be of greater importance.
My main AoE until I got Sap Essence was Path of Darkness/Twisting Path and dropping Elemental Blockade, then single targetting adds under the floor AoE.
