Will-power Set

Hey guys. I have gone into IC and started the main questline. I was browsing the vendor but could not find one that would sell the willpower set pieces individually. I guess I have to buy the mystery boxes with a chance to find one? Which one in particular?

Only way to get willpower is through trophy vaults in IC, using the trophies you loot from dead npc's , or, getting lucky in gold/silver pledge, or you get the neck piece from finishing vwgt, albeit a healthy one, or buying it from guild stores.

You can't get them from the vendors. The only ways to get willpower, agility or endurance items are:
- Trophy vaults in IC (Bone shards and dark aether for willpower)
- Last bosses of any "old" dungeon
- trading with other players

Dammit. That sounds like a lot of work, and something I can't do solo. I think I will be better off buying them on Guild Vendors....

Buying from the guild vendors is the easiest path. That's what I did

You can do it solo, just grind some mobs in the districts or sewers and collect the trophies, once you have 60, you get a chance at a drop.

It's easy to do, I did vr1-16 with an alt over a few days. With the trophies and tel var stones I had enough to craft full vr16 gear, and enough trophies to open 5 bloody claw, 7 dark ether, 11 bone shard, 6 endurance vaults.

I got multiple rings and necklaces of each, made plenty of money selling it, and motif pages too for my crafter.

You can get it Trade Guilds, and a lot.

Willpower trophies are the easiest to grind. In the DC area of the sewers called the Vile Drainage I think you can do a lap of the entire area and you'll easily gather Bone Shards and Dark Ether from the mobs there. The high concentration of mobs makes the grind the easiest by far.

Can the healthy necklace be turned into arcane with runes? Also, are the willpower pieces sure trophies drops or can they drop only by chance?

The healthy neck cannot be changed to arcane. And it's not guarantee drop in trophy vaults, bug at least one item, or two, will be will power. They can be weapons or accessories

There are two trophy-vaults for each set (willpower/agility/endurance). You get 2 guarantied set pieces, but which one is completely random. So you can get 2 arcane rings or 2 well fitted shields....but it will ever be willpower in those 2 specific vaults.

you can easily do it solo. I farm the sewers by myself all the time. If someone kills you, you only lose 80% of your Telvar and not your items

Whether it is Arcane, Robust or Healthy (or whatever it is called) is pure RNG.

Same with Traits on Weapons, so if your shopping the Guild Stores, pay attention as the Cheaper Agility and Willpower items may not have the trait you want. Like Robust Will Power Rings are just about useless, same with Arcane Agility jewelry.

No he/she is right actually. It's a quest reward for WGT quest and it always comes with healthy trait. It's also bound on pickup and called Mara's Blessing or something but if you look at the description you'll see it's part of the Willpower set. My main is currently using it actually.

That and the ICP quest reward(was it Endurance shield? I can't remember) aside, traits are indeed random and the items found either in IC vaults or on last bosses of the group dungeons(rarely).

Buying from guild vendors is by far the cheapest and quickest route. Most willpower equipment can be found for less than 10k

Just a note: rings drops in Bone Shard vaults, neck in the Dark Ether vault.
