I think it's time we had some straight answers on this, are we talking this year, next year or later? It's been asked for since day one and tbh I was gobsmaked it wasn't even available at beta, gobsmacking turned to astonishment that it wasn't out for release, and now here we are, many moons hence and still we get the same answer.

We all are still waiting... well... a lot of us are.

I really hope they will add some character editing features soonish... the more people like their characters, the more they will play, and the more tzhey will inclined to buy neat stuff from the crown store for their characters, so it'd make sense for them to add all those features, namechange, recustomization options, whatever, as soon as they can get a working version (how hard can it be to let people re-enter chargen and just charge them crowns for every change made?)

This speaks volumes about a company....not good. To be honest, for a game that is now buy to play and relies heavily on asthetics/subs for income...how did a barbershop/class change avoid getting into the game? That should be like top priority, thats a lot of money already missed out on daily and still counting....ouch.

Game is heavily in need of customization options, and you are right in b2p model, hell any model fluff and customization is a gold mine.

Adding a new cat mount... 20 hours of work. Adding a new feature 2000 hours of work. That's the difference.

But yea, I agree. The amount of time it takes them to create content seems... unusually long.

Adding an npc that will open the character creation screen and take a cash shop token from your inventory when you click 'accept' is 2k hours worth of work? Please.

I agree, there should be an ETA by now. I don't expect it to be done, just an idea of when would be nice. "We're planning", "Soon(tm)", "It's being worked on" is getting a little old.

Barbershop should be a sub only feature and an ingame gold sink.

Should add a little more value to subbing.

They need to be more honest about where they are in a development process. They need to either say "We'd like to do it but haven't started work yet", "We're actually working on it with an approximate release date of [insert ballpark estimate--i.e. Fall 2016, Spring 2017], or "We intend to have this released in [such and such upcoming patch].

I understand they're hesitant due to many players taking rough timeline estimates as guaranteed release dates, but they could be a bit more helpful than they currently are. Just add blanket disclaimers (baring unforeseen issues, given funding or personnel levels, assuming smooth testing and implementation, etc.) with each announcement... I understand timelines are fluid and not fixed, but being unhelpfully ambiguous isn't the appropriate response.

It's cosmetics and customization. Ergo, a money maker that actually doesn't break anything or cause cries of "pay2win!" so I fully expect them to monetize it. I just hope they won't be ridiculous about it.

Honestly I'm a wee bit worried about eso and zos now... noticed they been dead to the world on forums.. like they did this for like a few months before announced buy to play so I'm wondering if the fired 300 customer service ppl and their silence I'd they not planning to pull a free to play announce for xmas or new years... only time I see them on forums is to edit per terms and rulea conduct stuff. They tell us a tiny bit of info like this or that coming soon they go mia for months...

Zeni is like a duck in a lake.
If you look at it , it looks like he's just floating there doing notihg.
Thing is, his legs underwater are moving like crazy and you just can't see it.

Trust big Zen. they know best. and worst case scenario, they learn from whatever happens.

This is a relatively straight forward feature with lots of cash grabbing potential, which means it should have went in when the game went B2P. I really hope it drops with the thieves guild.

Limited to hair? Facial reconstruction available? Body changes available? Tattoos/markings/even height change?

IMO, I'm a Master Wizard, and I should be able to get a magickal nosejob if I want it. That's not immersion breaking, considering I've polymorphed on more than one occasion.
