Thieve's Guild Dailies

If daily quests are released with the Thieve's Guild DLC, I hope they aren't the same kind of repetitive ones that we got with Orsinium and Cyrodiil. It is likely that they will involve stealing an item or maybe multiple items of value from somewhere in the world. I know it may be difficult, but it would be nice if there was some randomness to them. Such that it is not the same few items and locations every time.
The same should go for the Dark Brotherhood when it is released. Being ordered to kill the same 7 or 8 npcs over and over again will get old really fast. What does everyone else think?

would love quests to steal items from cadwell's zones.
and bounty quests for criminal players as well as NPC's
Insulting people on the internet is cowardly.

Not just stealing but all sorts of criminal activities! Remember the Thieves' Guild in TESV: Skyrim?

    1. Pickpocketing something from someone.
    2. Breaking into someone's house and looting it. (This game would apply looting a particular item of course, not a particular value as per the Bedlam Job)
    3. Modifying Ledgers in Shops (This would likely not be in TESO)
    4. Planting items in someone's home (Also not likely to be in TESO)

The Heist Job is pretty much the same as The Burglary Job mentioned in #2 so no need to mention it lol

In any case I'd wager #1 and #2 will be our Dailies from the Thieves' Guild if anything, but maybe with something more to it to make it not so simple... Let's look at what we have so far in TESO:

    1. Stealing
    2. Pickpocketing
    3. Assault and Murder
    4. Lockpicking (Safeboxes and House Locks)

Plenty there to work with I'd say lol

Since they already have the world boss thing down why not have both. Since they are letting us do all 6 bosses in wrothgar i think they should let us pick up all 6 from the quest givers also. But ya, both would be great!

If the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests don't take me all over Tamriel I will be really really really disappointed. I do not want isolated gameplay. I want gameplay that enriches all of Tamriel. We need a reason to go back to the older zones.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I want to see VR16 roaming bosses in the starter areas wiping everyone

I hope the new zones for the respective criminal guilds are just hubs and the quests they give involve going all over Tamriel. Like someone else said, seems pointless to have this huge, rich world and not make use of it once we've finished questing those zones.

But how will you know they're a different Gray Fox? ;)

Unfortunately, the Gray Fox was only leading the Thieves Guild for 300 years before Oblivion so it'd be too far back.

Oh... it's been awhile since I played Oblivion. =B Maybe that cowl transcend the game.

I had to check it on uesp to get the exact time, but I knew he wasn't around then because he didn't exist in Morrowind. If they added it into ESO then I would be very unhappy indeed, as so far it's managed to tread the line without breaking Lore (yes, I care a lot about the Lore).

Personally I am hoping for more varietee in dailies, but hey, the Wrothgar ones are neat enough for starters, if they just keep adding more places to do dailies at... eventually you'll get more of a selection then you have playtime anyhow...

    In that spirit...

Anyone remember the "random quests" back in TES:Daggerfall? The kind that went: "go -dwelve-, do -interact/kill/find- that/these -object(s)/NPC(s)/mob(s)/boss-, come back for reward...
Would be really nice if the Dwelve dailies were a bit randomized. Not just "pick one dwelve per day with its quest", but like, say, having two or three different quests per dwelve for more varietee...
For example, in the Argent Mine, there could be the current "kill boss, grab pelts" quest, but also a "save DID (=damsel in distress) NPC, kill non-furry mobs" second quest option, and a third "look into every container, until -object- is found" quest option... stuff like that, just to add more spice...

It would be great if the quests were repeatable more often then once a day too.

It would be nice if they incorporated the original zones in with the Thieves Guild quests. Make us go lift items from every zone, not just a couple or only new zones. The guards are well equipped to take care of any level of thief so the level of the zone itself isn't a big deal. This would help give people a reason to go to the lower zones which no one does now. It's been months since I've been in Auridon as there's NOTHING there for my V16. The only time I see that zone is when I log on a lowbie for a whole 30 seconds.

Developers can get more out of their MMO's if they incorporate the existing zones with the new DLC's that are coming out. Give people a reason to go back to them, not more reason to stay away...

    @ZOS_GinaBruno, thoughts?
