How to Kill a Dragon Knight as a Sourcer

Can someone please give advice? I got into a battle with a Dragon Knight 1v1 in Imperial City DC Sewers. This is a common occurrence lately. Sometimes I am not so luck and just die when they have group members supporting them. The Dragon Knight was using Reflective Scales so my Crystal Frags, Overload and even Inferno staff attacks would just bounce right back at me. The only was he could kill me was if he drained my stamina which he tried but since I had tri-pots, it was a stalemate and we just stopped fighting each other after a while. I was stunning him regularly and doing some big damage at times and got him as low as 25% just a couple times just like he did to me, but with him using Vigor and reflective scales all the time there seemed to be nothing I could do.

✭Sometimes ties happens. He's probably asking himself the same question.
However, there is still AoE's and Velocious Curse you could use, I don't know if you did. You "just" need to slot something that is not a projectile so it can't be reflected.0 -
aLi3nZ✭✭✭✭OK thanks that helps. I am looking forward to getting proximity detonation unlocked at Alliance Assault rank 7. I can Tri AoE's. I was using curse and mage's wrath and streak. Do you think throwing webs will work from undaunted skill line? Can that be reflected?0

✭✭✭✭✭Force Pulse is a wrong morph, Crushing Shock is better for PvP but that can be reflected yeah. So does Webs from Undaunted.
A good strategy would be to start by putting down Mines, forcing him away from you. If he does get close or triggers them, Streak Away. Make good use of Hardened Ward, and use Velo Curse and Proxy Deto to beat his Scales.
As mentioned, AoE still hurts him, so use Pulsar for your main attack then.
There's also Storm Atro, to keep up the pressure on the DK

Good tips. However I'm not so sure about the Atro, there's a reason you don't see them too much in PvP: they can be CCed. If there's a NB nearby, he will "agony" it easily until it's unsummoned. But yes, something to keep the pressure is always good. Morkuldin is good for that but it's a stamina set...0 -

aLi3nZ✭✭✭✭Yeah, wish I hot proxy deto unlocked. So they reflect crushing shock, frags, webs, staff, overload light attacks. I am limited to AOE, streak, overload heavy attack?, curse, mines.0

Dragonknights don't need a nerf. It's just you're a complete noob, who can't play for one of the two strongest classes in the game.
Your brain needs a buff, that's for sure. Looks like it was nerfed pretty hard.3 -
willymchilybily✭✭✭✭it is tough, magicka DK is set up to be a real burden to a sorcerer. And setting up to beat one can make it tougher to beat other opponents you are more naturally capable of beating. likewise a templar using eclipse/total dark can also be a burden because its not common to run a purge for most sorcs.
Personally i find it easier accepting I've set my sorc up to be strong against one particular group and have weaknesses against another.
