Merchants

OK I am not going to start by saying that I wish that there was a global auction house and that I think that the fragmented guild trading system sucks, but I would rather discuss the merchant system.

Is it really asking too much that each major city carries a full complement of merchants? I.E. Dye station, all the crafters, all the merchants. In addition is it asking too much that the mage merchant carries all the stocks, namely glyphs, soul stones and weapons on one merchant?
I don't know what gave the devs the idea that warping from place to place trying to find an item was fun, but they really need to start thinking about that.

then they say global auction house won't work because rich people will buy up all the low priced stuff and list it high. Guess what? Already happening on console do the damn auction house already

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

What major cities don't have the full set of NPC merchants? That said, I always stick to a certain few towns for do banking etc (Shornhelm, Coldharbour, Vaylens Watch, Bleakrock Isle).
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Rawl'kha and Elden Root are also decent places to find Guild Kiosks, although I cannot vouch for the quality lol

Items are only worth what people are willing to pay. In the current system I see people listing stuff at a price I'm not willing to pay. This makes it so that gold is worthless. I can never spend it on a thing other than repairs. Rich people are already buying up the stock on things that aren't BOP as is so thas not a reason against an AH.

OT: it would be nice if merchants actually had everything on them.

Yeah FFS give me an NPC with tempering alloy and other upgrade materials. That way the guild greed traders get nothing I'll even pay the NPC the same jacked up price as long as they don't get it. Why doesn't the blacksmith do this already? As is he's a useless npc

So if you had an AH, what would become of Guild Traders? Also, how would a global AH work in regards to a time when there was no electronics or "internet"? With a global AH I am sure some people would say that it is RP or "immersion breaking".

Ya know,I agree with you.In EP there's no dye station in Davon's Watch. Plus,Khenarthi's Roost,an area full of Pirates, thieves, and riffraff, has no thieves fence den.Which Is just odd.

The main City in Stonefalls is Ebonheart, though. That's where the dye station is.

I know it's confusing, but it makes sense.

OP, what city doesn't have a full set of NPC vendors?
