How about sales forum or something?
So I'm here at level 38 trying to find a fire resist glyph and am recently returning to the game, so am still working to wrap my head around it all. But, I need a fire resist glyph for my lvl 35+ jewelry and from what I can tell the only way to buy from other players (without spamming chat channels) is to spend a bunch of gold traveling around different cities hoping that some guild is selling one?
My experience so far:
Travel to Eastmarch: No guild traders selling aforementioned item
Travel to Davon's Watch: Nope
Travel to the Rift: haha, no.
Travel to Shadowfen: noooope.
Is it just me or is this really cumbersome and unfriendly? Like, if I want to buy a specific item and another player has it, I shouldn't have to spam chat channels like this is 1999 or something. So, if we can't have an actual marketplace, can we have some forums or something where I can just make a post to request an item? Cause I am not spending another 3-4 hours running around looking for a single glyph in Eastmarch, and in literally any other game, I would have had this enchantment by now.

The problem is that guild traders in their current form allow guilds with tons of money and no real stock that people actually want to buy to dominate places, so nobody can actually buy things they need. if there is no solution to that, then a global auction house is the best solution.1

I also want to add that I've never gotten frustrated trying to acquire a midlevel item (that seems to be something people use) in an MMO before0
