How to speak in voice chat on the PS4

I bought TESO for the PS4 today and I'm wondering how to speak in voice chat. Is it push-to-talk or is it voice activated?

✭It is live so if you have your mic on you can talk in chat just like party chat. To change channels you press options then select social then voice chat and then choose the channel you want.PUG Life - the true test of your skill

beerninja✭✭✭It's voice activated and I recommend using any headset other than the free one that comes with the PS4. The free one has an omni-directional mic that pics up room noise and game sounds if you play from your TV. If you use a mono headset or stereo headset they use directional boom mics to prevent excess noise so you don't *** other players off.
If you play with a surround sound system and prefer hearing your sound through that, I recommend the Tritton Kaiken mono headset. It's like 19 bucks, not bad.0
