Hi im planning to buy nirn for my armors but i heard also does change armor bonuses and nerfing trait abilities which is so bad for mmo and not thinking how it will effect the players who use those items they nerfing.. if eso gonna keep nerfing items instead of just making new one this eso game wont last like others mmo i playd that last for manny years and some until now still online..
and my second question do nirn works for overall spell ressistance or just by per pieces of armor?

Just Examples not ACTUAL Numbers.
Heavy Armor Chest = 300 Physical and 300 Spell Resistance (resistances are always automatically built in, for all types of armor.)
Heavy Armor "Nirnhoned" Chest = 300 Physical and 354 Spell Resistance (300 x .18) which is 18% additional spell resistance for chest.
Nirnhoned used to work by Adding all of your Total Spell Resistance and multiplying it by your Nirnhone %.
Now it just works off individual pieces built in spell resistances.

Best to use a trait like Divines or Infused on your gear. Impenetrable is also more worthwhile in PvP

zornyan✭✭✭✭✭It doesn't suck, it was a broken mechanic, people having 50k odd spell resist with just two nirnhoned armor pieces was just a massive exploit.
You can easily get to cap without it anyway.
My Breton magicks templar has 31k spell resist in light armor
